The house was set up perfectly for our fishing trip. We moved in and sat down and enjoyed the meat and cheese platter. They had set up for us,it was very good. We had all the utensils. We needed. We didn't have to bring anything extra which is great for packing. The beds were very comfortable. Everybody had a comfortable night's sleep. And we truly enjoyed our stay

Perfect Stay

We could not have found a better vacation rental. The owners thought of everything! Clear communication, spotless interior, plenty of extra bedding and towels in brand new condition, 2 fully stocked kitchens, kayak, canoe, paddle board, every yard game and beach toy one would need. They also left us a welcome drinks and a cheese plate - so above and beyond!

Great location, stocked and ready

Great hosts, house is stocked beyond anything I’ve seen at a rental with personalized welcome surprises. Quiet area, plenty of space with the converted garage. Comfortable bedding. Easy drive to the lake and Cedar Point. Poke around, you’ll find plenty of things to occupy your time and anything you need for water activities whether at the beach or just outside the house. Lots of labels make it easy to know what is where. You will not be disappointed.

Best Rental Experience

There are no words to describe how much these hosts go above and beyond. Location was perfect-but beyond that, the house was so well stocked full of everything you could possibly need or want. Yard games for the kids, fishing poles, kayak, canoe. They also left marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate for s’mores as well as an entire meat and cheese tray and a refrigerator full of drinks. We couldn’t get over their generosity and attention to details.Highly recommend!!!

Lovely cottage

We were visiting Huron for my nephew's wedding, and we absolutely loved our stay. We wished we had more time to enjoy the surrounding waterways. The property was so beautiful, well-designed and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to with great care.The hosts were generous and incredibly kind. It was honestly the nicest short term rental that I have ever stayed at, and my family was so happy and comfortable. Thank you for making a special weekend even more delightful for our family!

WONDERFUL PROPERTY, VERY CLEAN, EVERYTHING ORGANIZED, CLOSE TO BEACH, SHOPS, GOLF. EVERYTHING YOU WANT IS ON PROPERTY. WATER VIEW FRONT AND BACK. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE, MUCH NICER. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR ENTIRE FAMILY TO DO IN AND AROUND TOWN.

Wonderful Family Retreat

This was our first time using VRBO and it was above and beyond our expectations! The cottage was immaculate with plenty of storage, linens, towels and kitchen gadgets and spices. The Blackstone Griddle was so fun, we made most meals on it. We didn't want to leave.

Annual Golf/Fishing Mens weekend

This was the best property we've stayed at since our first trip to this area which was 25 years ago. The cottage was well stocked with all the amenities you could think of along with many surprises that were well received by my group. We will definitely be staying here next year.

Our stay at the vacation rental was truly exceptional. Two families came together and were blown away by the spacious accommodations, beautiful outdoor area, and the abundance of amenities provided. From kayaking and bike riding to fishing and yard games, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The older kids particularly loved exploring the surroundings and spending time on the water with the kayaks. Moreover, the homeowners demonstrated extraordinary hospitality by ensuring that we had everything we needed and more. It was evident that they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. We also appreciated the opportunity to unwind together, whether fishing by the rive or cozying up for a movie night. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we are grateful for the unforgettable memories created during our time at this fantastic vacation rental.

Anniversary Trip

This is the BEST stocked rental property that I have ever stayed in. They have thought of EVERYTHING! We walked in to 2 bottles of champagne, small gifts, and best wishes on ours and my parents anniversaries. They go above and beyond with the personal little touches to an already wonderful home with a beautiful location right on the river! We loved stayed in Huron away from all the hustle and bustle of Cedar Point at Sandusky, but you’re close enough to go anywhere and do anything that you want! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful property! 10/10 recommend!!

Great updated home

We had a great experience staying here. Home was updated and exceptionally clean. Exactly what we were looking for in a VRBO. The property was tucked away in a quite area with views of the water in the front and back with plenty of wildlife to observe. Kids loved playing in the garage and back yard. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the area!

Definitely recommend!

My friends and I stayed here for an event in Sandusky. We couldn’t stop raving about it. It was so peaceful and the garage area was great to hang out in and chat. Got to see a heron most days. Hosts easy to communicate with. Would definitely be back!

Better than a 5 star hotel!

This property and its hosts were the absolute best. So many amenities and personal touches. Food and drink provided in the garage fridge with a welcoming personal note on the fridge door that was truly appreciated. I had told Cynthia that I was a birder and she left me a beautiful keepsake and poem, along with a book of the birds of Ohio. The property itself was exceptional. Clean, comfortable, and the beds and linens were top-notch. I have already told my friends that they need to stay here and they would not be disappointed. Thank you Cynthia and Nick for your hospitality and use of your lovely property. Hope to return again someday!

Total Eclipse in paradise

Almost a year ago I looked for the closest bestest place for me to see the totality and landed on Huron Ohio from Chapel Hill, NC. I don't know when VRBO's became amenities and cleanliness and hospitality resembling a hotel, but this is what I found. These guys left drinks, food, provisions, s'mores. What can I say but 5 freakin' stars. Our eclipse experience was amazing, my kids shuffled through all their drawers and secret spaces looking for stuff...we played huge jenga and rowed in a canoe, saw white heron. Do not hesitate to book a stay here....close by amenities, enough to do 'on property', kid friendly, clean!

Above and Beyond!!

Tha cottage itself was amazing! The amenities and care to details were above and beyond. Everything needed, wanted, and even things not even though of were there or supplied. The host/owners are amazing people. Only giving 5⭐'s would not do it justice. Like the title says, Above and Beyond!!
