  • Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom lake cottage! Immerse yourself in comfort as you step into a fully furnished retreat. Enjoy the comfortable furniture, nice appliances, and tasteful décor that await you. Unwind and create lasting memories on the cozy patio, complete with a gas grill, wood burning fire pit and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. Stay entertained with smart TVs and complimentary Prime Video in both the living room and bedrooms. Our home is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a private neighborhood beach, lakefront park, and fishing pier. Nestled in the historic Rye Beach neighborhood, you'll find yourself only 10-15 minutes away from Cedar Point, 10 minutes from Nickel Plate Beach, 15 minutes from the island ferry, and a mere 5 minutes from excellent shopping, dining options, state nature preserves, and more!

Softball Nationals Stay

My husband and daughter stayed while she was playing in a softball nationals tournament. They said the location was absolutely perfect for the park and Cedar Point. The neighborhood was quiet, perfect location to the water and a lovely home. The pictures and amenities were perfect, including the grill. Thank you Jimmy for your hospitality! If they travel back, this will be the only place they book.

Great location on Lake Erie

We enjoyed the neighborhood and the park on the lake. The nearby Nickel Plate beach was wonderful and our dog loved diving into the waves after her toy.

Overall great experience except…

The couch could be replaced for comfort and more counter/cupboard so e in kitchen. Would stay again though, perfect location and amenities.

A very nice little cottage in a pretty cool community by the lake. Fun to walk around. Left for an early entrance to Cedar Point the next AM - only 15 minutes away!

Quiet

This is a cute little home within 15 minutes driving of anything you would like to do in Sandusky and Huron. We visited the Winerie, Cedar Point, and Lake Erie Adventure Company for kayaking. The cottage was a comfortable place to regroup and rest between excursions. I recommend this property to small groups, we had a great time.

Hidden Gem!

This place is even better than it looks. The lake is super close - like a 3 minute walk- and the park is super nice and clean. The restaurant recommendations that the host left were also amazing. The one way streets are a little confusing on the way in but this house is so worth it once you get there.

Property was clean and ready for us with all the necessary kitchen tools and ammenities. On property beach was underwhelming to say the least. Other homes brought their dogs onto the small beach and used it as a litter box. Was told about a week before our booking that the beach we should use was a short car ride away. Would have liked to have know that prior to booking. Neighborhood was quiet and close to anything you needed. Only complaint is the beach.

Quaint community, pleasant accommodations.

The house is small but no more than needed for a few people. Great community on the shore of Lake Erie. Stayed for July 4th week and it was pleasantly quiet and serene (besides the expected occasional personal fireworks that should be expected). Rye beach is a great little private, clean park with a cozy beach and pier in the midst of the neighborhood. Simplistic and peace house/location. No headaches and much better than a hotel. Would stay again.

Love the location!

Overall our stay was really great!!! Great location and neighborhood for walking our dog! Very close to the beach unfortunately the pier was closed and under construction. Loved the fire-pit area, very relaxing. Only negative thing I’d say was it wasn’t the cleanest, lots of spiders and webs and the kitchen utensils/pans were in disarray. Overall though we agreed if we’re ever back in the area we would stay there again :)

While the general condition of the cottage was OK, the kitchen needs better cleaning. Silverware and pots and pans had to be washed before use. Drawers and cupboard under sink were not clean. Windows were dirty and needed washed.Shower area is slippery and needs a rubber mat to prevent falls.
