Different property

First, Isiah said that he would contact me a few days in advance to our reservation date but I didn't hear from him until about an hour or two before time, and that was after I reached out to him. He then told me that the toilet was backed up but that he had another property we could stay in. With such short notice what was I to do but accept? I couldn't find the new property on VRBO and so have no idea if I overpaid or not. Therefore this review is for the property we stayed in, not this particular property. The furnishings are nice but the only table to eat on is a small high table with a couple of bar stools. There was toothpaste splatters on the bathroom faucet and a few gaps between the floor and moldings and walls and moldings, especially in the bathroom. The morning of our departure I saw that Isiah sent the following list for check out which makes me wonder what the cleaning fee is for. The Check-out To-Do List: * Please strip only beds used and place linens in the hamper in the closet. Leave the comforter on the bed. * Please put all dirty towels in the hamper. * Wash and put up any used dished, pots or pans * Please do NOT leave food or drinks in the refrigerator or any personal belongings. * Throw away all your trash in provided garbage can (located in the kitchen) and put full trash bags in the dumpster located to the left of the parking lot.

Good location to all attractions

Nice location to all things in Huntsville. Wasn’t a bad stay for a night. The hot water didn’t last too long. We had to move the plug for the tv because where it was plugged in didn’t work. Overall good for the money.

Comfortable & Nice Huntsville Apartment

This apartment was centrally located making it convenient to get to good restaurants, shopping venues, the Space Museum and highways. We enjoyed it as our “home away from home “ for a week. It had a comfortable bed (firm mattress, very nice sheets & linens), large TV with Roku & Wi-Fi, a well stocked kitchen (dishes, utensils, toaster, microwave, etc). It had good lighting including in the bathroom. It had ample living space for a studio apartment including a large closet for storage. It was clean and inviting, nice decor. There was easy parking in the private lot just outside the door. The Host supplied TP, cleaning products, paper towels, & a hair dryer.

Listing needs more accurate information.

We were in Huntsville to spend time with family and spent 6 nights in the unit for the week of Thanksgiving. It is not noted in the listing that the unit is located on the second floor with an outside entrance. We were not prepared to carry suitcases, food, etc. up a set of stairs. Unit has a nice large TV with Roku but without any paid subscriptions. We do not stream, so we had to go out and buy an HD antenna to watch the network stations. The TV was also missing the remote, which we also had to buy. The full-size kitchen was well stocked with most everything you would need for meals. It did not have a toaster, so we purchased one and left it in the unit for the next guest. The bathroom had a very large vanity and full-size tub/shower with great water pressure. The living room had a futon and a desk. The futon was very uncomfortable to sit on for more than 5 minutes. The desk was large enough and had a comfortable chair. All in all, the unit was not horrible, but not up to the standards that we are used to with VRBO's. I think the owner of the unit is new to VRBO and needs to step up their game if they want to continue to rent the unit.
