Over all everything was terrific. Every interaction with staff was positive. They was helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and the breakfast was awesome! The cinnamon rolls was the best!

Very nice property. Modern and well-maintained. It's located a bit off the beaten path - about 7 miles from I-65. Breakfast was typically Holiday Inn with sausages, omelets, biscuits and gravy, various cereals, juices, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit etc. The room was spacious and comfortable although my wife found the mattress to be a bit hard and pillows a little thin. Lots of parking and easy to get to

Both the hotel itself and the room were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was great. We will be staying there again on the trip back home.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Decatur. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and they provided really great pillows which I find is often a miss at hotels. We really enjoyed the hot water/coffee station and my husband loved the breakfast. It was a hearty spread. The fridge in the room was actually cold! I can't believe how many warm fridges I have come across in my travels. The workout room was closed which wasn't a bother as we didn't have time to workout, but looked like they had good equipment. We didn't try the pool, but it was pretty small. A 12'x12' square maybe. There were no window and it felt a bit claustrophobic. We chose this location for a work trip so the pool wasn't a consideration, just a note to share. I choose this property for the room amenities, cleanliness and great reviews. It did not disappoint and we will book with them next time around.

Expedia and the hotel were the problem. I booked off Expedia. Once arriving to the hotel it took over 25 minutes just to check in. Something about how the price wouldn’t match and the hotel host had to keep lowering it by a dollar to get it to match. Terrible experience. Then the room smelled awful and was dirty. I have pictures.

Decent hotel, friendly staff, overall the hotel appeared clean but in my room the carpet had stains that appeared they could have easily been cleaned, and the chase was dirty. I did not sit on it because if the multiple stains. The bed was clean though.

Had a problem with my card and hotel took $300 extra off my card and general manager will not get back with me and was stuck without money 5 hours from home. Still have yet to hear anything. Still was overall a great stay and clean environment and staff there were very helpful besides gm.

We actually decided to change hotels after check in. Staff was very kind. The hallway leading down to our room had old carpet, walls that were (we assume) being renovated? There were holes being held by tape that was peeling off. The room itself had a very strong musty smell and a few moths flying around. I’m sure Much of that was Out of the control of the management but my family and I would not have been comfortable. Unfortunately next door was a very upset infant so all things considered we just decided to move.

We were not greeted. There were 2 young people at the front desk on their phones. They didn’t look up when people walked in. When I went to the desk to explain our room phone wasn’t working, we’re wet met with a “sorry”-no offer to have maintenance look at it. When we asked for pillows for the pull out we were told they were out. The receptionist said she’d look for some, but as we walked away she sat back down and started on her cell phone again. We never did get pillows.
