We had a really nice stay at Al & Ariana's house. Proactive communication, cozy house with everything you need and ideal neighborhood walking distance to the city center. Kids friendly with brand new equipments and safe stairs. I highly recommend it.Thank you for this nice experience

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect — close to downtown and convenient to many great spots in the area. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a great yard to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay so comfortable. The host was extremely responsive and proactive, checking in to make sure everything was going well. We really appreciated that level of care.It’s also close to some lovely places to visit — we highly recommend checking out Arrowhead and Sandhill Nursery during your stay. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property in a lovely area. We visited some fantastic restaurants in the area a short walk from the house and took breakfast up to Lion's Lookout on our first morning. The house was clean and well organised with excellent aircon- thank goodness! We appreciated having access to the property owners blog about the area and used it to source days trips and local vendors as well as for ideas for our trip. A fantastic experience had by all the family.

Second year staying at this place. We basically booked it around when the place was available. It's well priced, clean, close to downtown and had all the amenities we needed. Excellent communication from the owners; grom check-in, during and check-out. A. Will ne returning next year.

What a great little place right in the heart of Huntsville, just a short 5 minute walk to downtown. Place was clean, well appointed and the owners were very attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice home and an excellent location for walking to lots of amenities in Huntsville. The owners were very diligent in messaging with us. If we were to come back to the area we would search for this property first off! Would definitely stay at it again if available!

We loved our stay at this house. The hosts are very attentive to all the details and very easy to communicate with. The house had everything we needed, and the outdoor patio was such a great place to relax after exploring the area. Very easy walk to Huntsville’s Main Street, so you don’t have to worry about finding parking down there during the busy times. We definitely recommend staying here!

Just Perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained everything was—the cleanliness truly stood out and made us feel right at home. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and everything we needed within a short drive or walk.The highlight, though, was the backyard—it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, beautifully landscaped, and ideal for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it added so much to our experience.We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and serene place to stay.

Small Issues

There were a few minor functional issues which needed attention, but did not affect our stay, they were just annoying. It is quite possible the owner wasn’t aware of them; freezer handle coming off, plug coming apart in drain, a lot of leaves on stairs and walkways making it a bit slippery.

A recommended stay for Huntsville!

Overall, Al & Arianna's home was a great experience for my family and I. They are great communicators and the home is a quick 7-8 minute walk to the main street of Huntsville near restaurants and shops. The home is also very recently renovated, so has a very clean look and is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, etc. Our only concerns were the cleanliness (found hairs and dental elastics around the home, and one of the duvets had stains on it -- appeared to be either ketchup or blood) and maintenance (shower didn't drain properly, we were left standing in a 2-3 inch pool of our shower water). Simple changes that should be addressed moving forward, but did make a negative impact during our stay.

We stayed for 4 days on a golf excursion with some friends. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The property was in excellent condition, the amenities were top notch. The backyard is fantastic, gives you the feeling of cottage life. The hosts were extremely professional and ensured we had everything we needed during our 4 day stay. Walking distance from the main street and pubs. The place was extremely clean and you can tell the hosts take pride in this property. I could not recommend this place more. We will absolutely be returning to this location on our next trips.

A wonderful stay close to downtown

We had a great time during our stay over the July long weekend. The rental had everything we could ask for. We highly recommend booking if you want to be a short walk to downtown and have everything you need.

A wonderful place to stay. A home away from home. Very friendly. Wonderful, clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen with all the pots, pans, stove, microwave and enough plates and cups. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. We only missed a clothes rack to hang up the laundry we did not want in the dryer. Outside lounge set, bbq and fire pit. The bathroom was clean. Loved the interior design. Close to the shops and restaurants. 30 minutes away from Algonquin park. We really enjoyed our stay! Next time we are in the area we will be coming back!

Perfect Summer Getaway

Located a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and marina downtown, the location is close enough to be convenient and far enough away for solitude if desired. The house is stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils and basic spices you need to cook. All you need are the ingredients and any condiments. There are books, games, television to watch and a lovely fire pit area. The house is exactly as it looks online. And the hosts were available for anything required.

Highly recommend!!

We had such an amazing weekend in Huntsville. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and walking distance to everything you need. Al and Ariana were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. We can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back!

Great location and space

Everything needed was there. Nice clean and well appointed space. Easy walk to downtown. Short drive to Arrowhead Prov Park for winter activities. Any issues were quickly addressed. Would stay there again for sure.
