Pictures do not do this home justice. What a lovely and charming "historic" home in the historic district of Huntley. The home was very clean and very well kept overall. The beds were comfortable, and they stock with just about everything you could need -- from shampoo to spices! I highly recommend this home, as it was one of the best VRBO units I've every stayed in as far as cleanliness, supplies, etc.

Clean, comfy, and fun place to stay! Well stocked, modern kitchen, roomy family room with large screen tv and 2 cool stand alone arcade games.Nice 3 bedrooms and huge bathroom upstairs with 2 showers! Plenty of thoughtful touches throughout! Quiet location a few blocks from downtown.

Spacious place

Overall the location fit our purpose- attending a family wedding. The place was spacious enough, with enough beds for everyone and we appreciated the ability to have the "home setting". The drain in the upstairs bathroom was dirty, you could see hair and gunk clogged in it and the floors and stairs were very filthy. The baby walked around with bare feet and her feet were black. I did appreciate the baby locks on things too.

Older home in quiet neighborhood

The house is older but taken care of by the owner. Plenty of room inside and outside. The fenced in back yard is perfect for a dog to run around. The kitchen had everything we needed; I especially liked the Nutri-bullet for smoothies. Communication with the owner, Collin, was very good

Huntley is lovely, the house needs attention

The town of Huntley and the neighborhood is lovely. The house itself is cute and the pictures accurately represent the overall appearance. However, the house needed attention. There are cobwebs throughout the house, dog hair on the carpet stair runner, grime on the windowsill infront of the kitchen sink and the white kitchen cabinets had food dripped on them. We had to clean when we walked in to feel comfortable. Also, fire alarm battery needed to be replaced at 10pm.

Very nice place

We loved the front porch (swing and rocking chairs,) the kitchen was very nice and nicely equipped, the beds were comfortable, the stairs were a little steep but manageable for 3 older ladies 😊. All in all, it was a lovely experience and we plan on renting again if we’re back in the area.

Great Family House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was equipped for families and had a pack n play for the baby and some kids books and games to help keep the toddler busy. The house had everything we needed from essentials in the kitchen to extra towels in the bathroom. It was comfortable and I loved the swing on the front porch.

Quaint stay in Huntley!

We needed a place to stay for a few nights while our floors were being re-finished and Collin’s home was a wonderful option! Collin was a wonderful host and made sure everything was in order before and during our stay! Highly recommend!

Family size home in quiet Neighborhood

Best stocked VRBO I've ever rented. Plenty of paper and soap products, towels, dishes, spices, games. Comfortable beds and cute back yard with gazebo. Huntley was conveniently located for our needs and the downtown square with shops and restaurants is close enough to walk to. If we return to the area and need a rental we'll be sure to check availability.

The perfect porch

We loved rocking and swinging on the front porch as we caught up with friends and family. Good location, lots of great restaurants nearby, easy parking. The hosts put great care into furnishing and fixtures. The small touches were super-helpful, like the USB charging ports in the master bedroom (perfect for my UK family). And the WiFi flawlessly supported my Zoom work sessions. Thanks Collin!

Quiet Comfort in Huntley

This house is well kept, in a quiet neighborhood, with great access to local shopping as well as highways! Staying here was a wonderful experience for my father’s birthday! Thank you!!

Wonderful House and Great Hosts

The beds were very comfy. We had everything we needed to host Christmas Eve for our extended family. The house was warm, cozy and clean. Carrie and Collin were responsive and kind hosts. We will definitely request to stay again.
