Absolutely the best!

We’ve travelled from the UK to Laguna/Newport/ Huntington a number of times in the past. We’ve stayed in Huntington before and have been frailty happy but Janet’s place was so much better than anywhere else!!! Close to Main st, close to the beach, bikes, parking, beach equipment and a very comfortable apartment! I can fault anything about this stay other than it wasn’t long enough! Janet was super responsive and helpful too. A+++++

Great stay in beautiful Huntington Beach

Aside from being just a bit smaller than we had anticipated. It was a cute little place with everything you can think of around you main street provided great entertainment, and food as well as shopping. The house itself was clean and provided all that you could possibly need as if you were at home

Perfect location

Location Location Location

Cute little bungalow. The location is excellent and the house was very clean. Just a couple of notes…there is an outside patio, but the guests in the front rental pass by the patio in order to get to the garage making it less than ideal for sitting outside with the dogs. Also, both of my adult children are over 6 feet tall and the twin beds appear to be on the short side making them a bit uncomfortable. Both of these issues could be easily resolved. My husband and I would definitely return on our own as the location can’t be beat.

Weekend in Huntington Beach

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute duplex. The entrance is off a back alley and it felt really secluded (in a good way), while also being very close to the beach and restaurants. We were very comfortable & had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner before and during our stay.

Fantastic location & family friendly

We couldn’t have asked for a better place! Only 3 blocks from the beach and Main Street HB. Property was clean, had all the beach gear and comfortable beds. Kitchen and appliances were updated and Janet was quick to respond and answer any questions I had. Highly recommend for a couple or family!

Awesome location

My husband and I had the most relaxing vacation in HB. The house was clean, well stocked, comfy beds and great to have a washer/dryer. 2 block walk to beach and down Main Street where there are lots of restaurants.

Amazing stay in Huntington Beach

The cottage was very clean and comfortable! We had a great week here and it’s so close to the beach and Main Street. Janet was easy to get in touch with and explained everything ahead of time and even provided pictures to explain parking. The pictures on the website are exactly what the place looks like. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect!

Great place to stay with kids and dogs. We had a great time. The location is perfect for waking to Main Street Huntington Beach and the pier and boardwalk. Also close to the best dog beach. It's very cool that bikes are provided, though one of them had a very flat tire. We had a great time and would stay here again.

A Gem at the Beach

We stayed for a full week this year after spending a long weekend last year. We also rented the front unit for a few days for my daughter and her husband. The place is a great little house. All that you need is supplied. Cleanliness is high on the list of this places attributes. But spending a longer time here showed us how incredibly convenient it is to stay here. So much is available within walking distance you would never have to leave. The weather this year was a surprise with a very rare blizzard warning in Los Angeles. Truthfully the warning was for the surrounding mountains but it was a pretty cool experience to watch play out and made a spectacular drive on the way home to Arizona. A wonderful place to stay.

Great beach cottage!

The property is really close to downtown Huntington Beach; and we walked to pretty much everything except the dog beach (puppy loved the dog beach). The cottage had everything that we needed and we are looking forward to future stays!

Fun time at the beach!

The property is in a great location and we were very comfortable there. We went to Dog Beach every day which is nearby. Janet was very responsive and very kind. We hope we’ll be able to stay there again!

Great bungalow, location, and owner!

My family of 3 had a great stay. It sleeps 4 comfortably (1 king, 2 twin beds). There is a pullout couch in the living room. The living room is pretty cramped without the pullout bed out. Movie theater snacks under the TV in the living room. Heat and A/C are only available in the kitchen/living room area. Space heaters were available for the bedrooms. We stayed in November and the bedrooms got chilly at night. Fully equipped house with bicycles and sand toys in the garage. Washer & dryer were in the garage too, but I didn’t use them. Small outdoor seating area with full sized table between the garage and the house. The front of the bungalow is also a rental with their own separate entrance. 5 minute walk to the beach or downtown. The property owner, Janet, is very nice and responded quickly to my texts. My son left his charger behind and Janet sent it back to us. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend this rental to a small family or group of 4 adults.

The cottage was perfect for our beach vacation - walking distance to everything (restaurants, groceries, and of course the beach), clean, comfy beds, quiet, and Janet made the check in process very easy. We'll definitely book again!

Cozy Beach home with everything you need

Everything you need to enjoy a week at the beach- the kitchen, was well appointed and the little extras provided were such nice touches. Janet went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable! We will definitely be back. Super close to the restaurants and shops downtown- and a short bike ride to the beach!!

First time to Cali

We enjoyed our stay very much. Janet was a terrific host and made our stay very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the lines all clean and plentiful. Kitchen amenities were also great. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended property. Would love to use again.

Perfect size for the 3 of us. Absolutely loved the outside space to sit and eat or drink under the lights. Property had everything we needed including beach towels, full kitchen and the best of all was cruiser bikes- were perfect for the cycle to Newport Beach area. 5 min walk to Huntington pier and Main Street for dinners. Felt extremely safe walking around at night. Janet was so generous to allow us an early check in as had been travelling for a full day. Would love to return to this cottage and the beaches of California. Thank you!!
