Peace and pleasure in the country

It was hard to imagine a listing with a 10 rating but now we understand why. The cottage is wonderfully located. The beauty of the walks and streets is charming. The cottage is extremely private, well-equipped and smartly decorated. It was a haven for us and we strongly recommend a stay!

Self contained & very quiet. Having 4 rooms is a lovely treat when you're traveling for a couple of months. Kitchen & bathroom great & the bed/pillows very comfortable.

Quiet. Best lodging on our trip. Real shower. Breakfast on your own was great with everything the owners supplied. Extremely comfortable suite. So nice you don’t even want to go out to see what you came here to visit and see in the first place. Do go to the Dutchess pub for dinner.

Great place to stay near Cambridge

A lovely self contained cottage, along with a lovely welcome from the host. Cook your own breakfast, another excellent quirky difference.

Wow! Wasn't expecting a lovely 4 room bungalow! Very clean and very comfortable! Only down side is that I wasn't staying there longer!

A lovely little find

We loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage. It had everything we needed and really was a lovely home-from-home. The cottage is spacious and full of character. The owner gave us a friendly, warm welcome when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a tastier breakfast. The owner sends you a welcome email when you book and you get to choose your breakfast. The fresh produce is then there for you to prepare yourselves. We had delicious smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with English muffins. Tea, coffee, milk and orange juice all there for you too. You can park your car right outside the cottage. It’s a 5 minute walk to the local pubs, The Duchess and King William. Comfy bed with high quality linen. The toiletries were a great little luxury! We would love to stay again if we’re coming back to the area.

Quite and Clean

I understand the need for blinds but found it a bit claustrophobic .

It was a lovely stay. Mila and Bill were great hozts and we would highly recommend staying here. Only one minor thing-step from kitchen leading to the bathroom has a small step which is quite sharp and can cause some pain if stepped on incorrectly, like my husband did.

Delightful B&B with a difference.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Cow. Delightful, attractive and comfortable accommodation, generous breakfasts .You cook your own breakfast with food provided, but leave the clearing up for Mila to do. When we returned after dark, the lights had been put on for us, and our towels and flannels had been put on the heated towel rail. So thoughtful.
