"The host was very kind, responsive, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the property itself was not as described in the listing. The layout was very cut up, and several parts of the home were in noticeably worse condition than expected. It didn’t match the photos or description on VRBO, and it made the stay uncomfortable.The host herself was great, but the property needs significant updates and a more accurate listing so future travelers know what they’re walking into."

"This was a great find and the perfect location for several members of our family that had gathered for a reunion.We had two air-conditioned bedrooms with king beds, and a great kitchen set up for making meals as we needed. "Absolutely beautiful location. Restorative and peaceful. Host was excellent and extremely easy to communicate with. Everything was better than expected. So clean and little details were taken care of. A basket of toiletries in the bathroom, their own farm fresh eggs and local fresh milk in the refrigerator waiting. The gorgeous flowers and landscaped walkways and property were top notch. Then you have the mountains and farms as far as you can see.

"Host was great with timely communication and the price was fantastic considering there was a PSU game and the place is 10 min away from Beaver stadium. My only complaint is that the apt. needs some updating. Everything is very worn and old. We were literally in the apt for 10 hrs so it served its purpose."

"This is a gorgeous victorian home, in a neighborhood full of gorgeous victorian homes. The maids quarters, with a separate entrance, are large enough to live in. Breakfast choices are amazing, and you have a full kitchen to work with for other meals. Bellefonte is a lovely town nestled in the PA hills, with several large creeks draining into a large stream that runs through the center of town.
