Clean, Cozy, Comfortable… Spacious! Prime Location + SUPER host!

We wanted to get away from the city for a cozy mountain weekend and Trish provided us with that and more! Her property is in a prime location… secluded in the scenic mountains while being just minutes from the slopes, downtown shops, the brewery and more views ! Her home is as cozy as they come … stocked with every item you may need and then some!!! It is spacious both inside and out. Not to mention it was clean and Covid conscious! Trish provided us with tips, hints, coupons, and fun! She answered any question I had in a timely manner and was beyond helpful. Aside from the fun we had at the slopes and in town… Trisha’s board games, hot tub, karaoke speaker, etc. kept the fun going while inside enjoying the snow and views. OH WAIT I almost forgot the amazing decorations and music that we’re waiting for us upon our arrival… Trish takes the time to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, special, and right at home. I cannot recommend this property enough!!! Trish, thank you for the fun, the memories… everything- we can’t wait to book again!

Excellent host w/ beautiful property

Trish, the owner, knows how to host a vacation stay. We had access to Trish whenever needed. She always looked out to make sure we were enjoying all there was to enjoy. Owners/caretaker lives on the premises.

Motion cameras near the jacuzzi. 1000 rules that you have to follow posted all over the house. God forbid you brake one of them, the owner/caretaker will knock on your door. They live above the garage. At the end of the stay you will have to take your garbage! Location is very good but NOT private.

Xmas at Hunter Mountain

No one does a better job of communicating with their guests for their upcoming stay! Trish gave us all the information we needed and more. After arriving in white out conditions, the caretaker spent hours ensuring our safety - very responsive. The home worked so well for our family - plenty of space. Location was very convenient to the mountain. Everything was beautifully decorated for the season. It was a great visit! Our only thought: we need to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful deck and outside activities!

Amazing home with lots of activities/great host!

Trisha was the best host I’ve rented from thus far and made the trip so enjoyable and memorable!! She provided fun details leading up to the trip and decorated the home once we got there to make it really special. Her home was decked out with bored games, a stereo, hot tub, etc so it was impossible to be bored. The entire group wants to go back bc of the fun experience, and we feel very fortunate to have rented this place!! Awesome stay and highly recommend!!! Thanks again Trisha!!!!

Amazing home in Hunter! Wow!!

We booked this property for a family reunion in the area. This property was as pictured and more! The host communication was stellar 🌟! Great Property - Host Went Above & Beyond

The property was as advertised, complete with a fire pit & fire starter kit, fully stocked kitchen, grill and great lounge area. My group also took advantage of a 15 minute drive to Kaaterskill Falls for a great hike to a waterfall and a 5 minute drive to Hunter Mountain Brewery. Most notably, Trish went above and beyond four our July Independence Day theme to really spruce up the character of the house. She was great with communication throughout the process. I would certainly recommend this house for a group of 3-4 couples or a family looking for a nice weekend getaway.

Such a great weekend at Trisha's Chalet

Trisha went above and beyond for my bachelorette weekend. We pulled up to music playing on the outdoor speakers and she had the whole house set up with Bachelorette decorations. It was a dream to walk into. The house was so clean, too! There was so much she did for us, but I wouldn't want to ruin any surprises for future guests. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we were only there for 2 days, so we didn't have time to set a fire up in the fire pit because we were to busy singing Karaoke, but would have if we had more time. Us 6 girls had a blast and Trisha and her chalet will be apart of a forever memory.

The best hostess!

The property is beautiful as are all of the things in it. Trisha really goes above and beyond with extras in a great way. She supplies tons of information about the area, some goodies, fun monthly themed items for the kids (& big kids). Two families stayed at the home during my visit, mine and friends including 3 11 year olds. We were all so happy to find everything we needed and more. We are talking about making it a yearly trip and would certainly stay here again.

The best hidden treasure of Hunter Mtn area

We promise to be back! The house was amazing, clean and very comfortable. Nothing was missing for our long weekend stay. Trisha was very helpful, informative and reachable with quick responses during and before our stay. She wanted to make sure we had access to all that we needed to make our weekend the best it possibly could be. We enjoyed the new state of the art hot tub, the surrounding new decks, and the easy 4 min drive to the slopes of Hunter Mtn. We had a snow storm that weekend , of about 8-9inches, and the drive and steps were cleaned every 2 hours, we were impressed! Trisha, we can not wait to come back and enjoy this private home get away again! Many thanks!

Outstanding Experience at Hunter Mountain!

Listing was perfect for two families to share, very close to the mountain, immaculately clean and very cozy chalet. Very well stocked, honestly Trish thinks of everything including things beyond your expectations. The kids loved the special St. Patty's Day themed surprises as well as the hot tub, karoke machine, pary lights, etc. Our welcome basket was awesome and unexpected. I've never seen such a clean house before. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again. I highly recommend this rental. Trish was a great hostess!!

Agree with many of the other comments mentioned. Good location to Hunter Mountain.

Loved proximity to cute, nearby town, Tannersville. Just minutes from Hunter Mountain. Easy to get back-and-forth to ski, even multiple times per day. Trisha is a super detailed and communicative host and is in constant contact leading up to and throughout your stay.

Nice home close to the mountain

Nice home, close to the mountain, good layout for 2 families of 4. Great hot tub and lots to do for kids and adults at the house. Kitchen was tight and pots/pans/utensils could use some updating. Not a great space to put boots on or store gear. Ski/boot storage is in a separate area around the house with out benches. Host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Caretaker on site was comforting in case there were any issues, but we never had any. Be aware of extra charges for hot tub and trash removal.

Lovely House & Location Offering Group Fun

Great initial presentation with holiday decorations & music. House is very safe & clean with all linens available. Family fun offerings were multiple & gorgeous hot tub a big hit particularly at night. Owner has thought of every possible need for a great stay & very available for any questions or needs. We would definitely stay at Trisha’s home again !!

Superstar host and a superstar house! Must Stay!

The host of this house has a Superstar rating and that is no joke! Trish went above and beyond to make my friends and I feel welcome and have fun. I turned 40 and I wanted to have a girls weekend away. Well Trish had so many happy birthday Easter eggs for around the house for me I was just floored. She made it so special and I never even met this woman. We had an amazing time at this house. It is extremely clean and well prepared with all of the essentials. There were lots of notes and instructions, a helpful binder and it was because everything was so well-kept it was easy to just relax. There was a moment where the hot tub wasn’t operating properly and I called her host and we had it back online in 15 minutes. Everything was managed beautifully and I would love to stay at this home again. I am so thankful to have found this house and for everything Trish did for us to make it an easy comfortable and welcoming stay

Fantastic Fall Getaway

Perfect setting with everything you need plus things you didn’t even think of asking for made this Fall Leaf Peeping Getaway the most restful and fun weekend. Hikers, loafers and the dog all were more than satisfied with this property. Definitely coming back. So much more to do!

Perfect cabin getaway for a Catskills adventure

We were looking for a fall getaway for 9 people in the middle of the Catskills area close to hiking, dining, and secluded enough to enjoy nature. This cabin was perfect for my group to enjoy a lovely weekend of hiking, campfire, games and good food. The check in process was very easy and Trisha was very detailed and prompt with any questions or concerns we may have. The caretaker Mike was present after arrival to show us how to use the hot tub and give a review of the grill. Trisha was great about letting us know when to meet him and other than the intro we didn’t see him all weekend. It was comforting to know he was close by if we had any issues in need of fixing (also good to know for winter trips that the driveway would be cleared as well). The house was well equipped for cooking, towels stocked, shampoo/conditioner, many games, great details for local eats, hikes, excursions, and clear house rules and instructions! We even did a local hike that was recommended in her book. We got to enjoy the hot tub after hiking and the campfire with the wood provided for purchase. Trisha even had great baskets of snacks/s’mores supplies waiting on the counter upon arrival, she even had a basket of treats and toys for our two dogs who joined us for the weekend! Overall, We had such a lovely time and would return here again, especially for ski season as it’s proximity to Hunter and windham mountain is perfect.

We loved Trisha’s Mountain Chalet!

Rented this beautiful home in August of 2021 and had an amazing experience. Our party was three couples and our tweens and infants. The house was so nice and clean! No shoes worn inside. Trisha even had slippers and little slide sandals in a variety of sizes to wear while visiting. When we arrived my kids and husband were amazed to see a big bowl of snacks and fridge ready with beer for hubby as a welcome from our fabulous host. After a long drive, it was an awesome surprise. The house is fun, it has a great floor plan— two bedrooms and bath downstairs and two beds and bathroom upstairs. The house is well stocked with lovely towels and linens in addition to nearly every kitchen gadget you could imagine! Outside is super private and peaceful. The hot tub was lovely and enjoyed every day of our visit. The caretaker, Mike, who lives on site was super quiet and didn’t disturb our privacy at all. In fact, we were glad to have him on site when we needed a ceiling fan light tightened and the hot tub had an error code that we couldn’t troubleshoot. He was awesome! Trisha really thought and planned out an amazing place to stay that was well stocked with soaps, cleaners, shampoos, conditioner, toothpaste, condiments, cold drinks, firewood and SO MUCH MORE. We took her lead to visit some of her favorite eateries and hiking spots and we’re very happy we did. This is a great central spot, from here we enjoyed Rail Explorers and Cooperstown, Hunter, Windham, Schoharie, Phoenicia, Saugerties and Woodstock. It was a great central spot for us! Thank you, Trisha and Mike for a great experience! Your attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed!
