Overall the property was very nice and had everything we needed. A few suggestions, add bars to the closets or over the door hooks as there was very little area to hang clothes or towels. Change trash cans in kitchen/porch area, the bags continue to fall in. Otherwise, it was a very nice property and we enjoyed ourselves very much!

This is the second time we have stayed at your property for our family reunion. We had a great time! The property was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with silverware, dishes, pots and pans and a coffee maker. You were prompt to reply to a question about one of the arcade games! Everyone enjoyed the game room and firepit and the younger kids especially loved the hot tub while watching many movies on the big screen TV. Thanks!

Moms and Kids Getaway

We booked a few nights for a group of friends (6 women) and our children to get away and spend some time relaxing together. The kids had a blast, there were many activities to keep them busy in the game room. We had plenty of seating and space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We had a great few days!

Great location, descent communication but with nuances

The host Andrew was very nice to let us have an early check in, the location of the property is awesome, only a mile away from the Hunter Mtn, the neighborhood is also nice and quiet but there are a lot of “but”s about this property.Electrical Problems: Many lights in the general play area were not working, and while you asked your friend Andy to provide floor lamps (from which only one was usable) as a temporary fix, the power outlets in the same area were also non-functional, indicating a broader electrical issue.Hot Tub Malfunction and Hygiene Concerns: The hot tub failed to maintain a consistent temperature, dropping from the intended 102-104F to 96Fwithin 30 minutes, making it unusable. Additionally, there was visible mold in some areas, rendering it unsafe for use.Overall Poor Condition of the Unit: The general state of the property was below expectations, with a couch that was visibly damaged and worn past its usable lifespan, the cabinets in the kitchen are in poor condition, barely hanging on screws on a 2x4 wood, most of the pans were greasy, the grill had a rotten base and was dirty with some meat leftovers.Given these issues, our stay did not meet the standards expected from a VRBO listing, and we were unable to fully enjoy the amenities as advertised.The host agreed to refund 250 for the inconvenience, but that’s less than 10% from the price of the stay, which felt a bit insulting. Overall would’t recommend to stay at this property.

Good but expected more

Booking was a breeze and we were excited for our stay here but the listing isn’t like what we thought it would have been. We came up to ski the weekend which was a great time, but trying to connect with the host prior to check in was difficult, we didn’t hear from them until the day after we were supposed to check in. So we never had the WiFi password, didn’t know the rules, we weren’t given a check in code so if the house was left locked(which it wasn’t) we wouldn’t have got into the house for the first night of our rental. We truly just didn’t know what expectations there were of us while staying here until the night before we left. Connecting with the host prior to arriving was great though, we inquired specifically about the hot tub as we were looking forward to using it. We were told it was in working order but the water level was low when we arrived and the temperature wouldn’t rise so it wasn't hot enough to use(the hot tub was one of the main reason we booked this place). Also if we had any issues on the first day there wasn’t anyone to connect with. The house also wasn’t in the best shape, seemed put together fast and if you touched something it would fall apart. Also if you want to stay with kids, none of the arcade games work or the air hockey table. We won’t be renting this place again sadly, we just had higher hopes for it and we rent on hunter mountain every year for 5 years now.

My family really enjoyed their stay at this house. The kids were super excited about the game room. The house is very clean and in a perfect location for the activities you want to do. They have everything you need to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. Communication with the host was excellent, he was an accessible person. Highly recommended.

fun trip

we really apreciatte to thw host, just little recomendations. house need some repair, upper decks cant use them, outside is little short, Jacuzzi water smells, outdoor grill is not working need to replace even we buy new Propape tank, we left full, the bed line need to be cleanning some smells we have to cleaning before sleep, some showers are very tiny lol, you have to bring you own launfry detergent we left some there, dish soap, but we enjoy our time if they did all repairs probably will be better and amaizing..

Family reunion

We had a fabulous time and this beautiful place. Things we didn’t know until we arrived is the two upper decks are not usable and two of the video games didn’t work. There was no tin foil plastic wrap baggies or garbage bags for us to use. Have a few spices on hand would have been nice as well. The drawers are all very unorganized and could really use a clean out, hard to find what you need without going through them all each time. Otherwise absolutely perfect.

Fun vacation home close to the mountain

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has ample bedrooms and bathrooms with a fun game room and fireplace. The kitchen and dining area were sizeable for our group of 9 adults and 5 teens/kids. There are also a couple of roll-away beds and the pull-out couch for extra sleeping space. The beds were all comfortable. And the hot tub was the icing on the cake. The house is in good shape with a couple of minor leaks we attended to during a rain storm, but had no impact on our stay. Thank you for a fun weekend getaway!

Father/Son ski weekend

This was the perfect house for our annual father son ski trip. There was plenty of room for all eight of us, and all of the games were a big hit. The deck is enormous, and we spent a lot of time in the hot tub and around the fire pit. Would definitely recommend for groups of up to eight.

Happy at Hunter

We just had a wonderful weekend at Andrew’s house at Hunter Mountain. The proximity to Hunter (less than a mile) is great. After a long day of skiing, it was nice to be home in fewer than 5 minutes! Andrew was a great communicator and answered all of our questions immediately. The house was very spacious and warm. There was so much for the kids (ages 10-16) to do that we didn’t even leave on Sunday except for our traditional trip to Dollar General to buy a jigsaw puzzle to complete that day. The kids enjoyed playing pool and Ms Pac-Man and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We had a fire going all day Sunday and there was plenty of wood out back. There are restaurants and markets nearby and the neighboring town of Tannersville has become super cute. We are glad we stayed here.

Great family ski trip

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. Andrew was very responsive via text messages. House location is excellent for ski at Hunter mtn, (5min) drive. The house was clean, with more than enough towels, toilet papers, cook wares and bathrooms. Both kids and adult really enjoyed the game room. It's a great place to stay for family. Jenny Y

Thanksgiving getaway

This property was perfectly suited to our needs. We wanted a place to stay over Thanksgiving where we could all cook and eat together. There were 15 of us in total, ages 80 to 5 and everyone seemed to have a great time. The game room was what drew us to the place and it didnt disappoint. The kitchen was comfortable enough to cook a full Thanksgiving feast.Though we did bring some items to cook with and prep with. All 15 of us fit around the enormous dining room table The view of Hunter Mountain was lovely and it's a stones throw from Main street. The hot tub and fire pit were great and communication with the owners was quick. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great place for 14 family members- 76 and 83 YO grand parents, 50 somethings and 18 to 25s. House is a slight maze, but plenty of space for fun and bonding!

Family by choice vacation

We had 10 people staying here, 4 adults and 6 kids (10-19). It was plenty of space and had plenty to keep us entertained while at the house. Easy drive to Hunter Mountain and the Katterskill Falls (highly recommend making the trip)
