Direct River Access/ Minutes to Glacier National!

  • Glacier Getaway is ideally located on the beautiful Flathead River! The property has three queen beds, and can sleep (6) comfortably. Features a covered log patio to entertain, or just relax and BBQ after a day in Glacier Park. The best part of the day is to end your evening with a bonfire on the river. Fishing/river access available utilizing the rustic pathway down to the river. The path down to the river is a rustic path with approximately 15 steps and last approx. 8 feet is sloping gravel. Enter river access at your own risk. Shopping, restaurants and local sight seeing within walking distance, and the west entrance to Glacier National Park is only approximately 8 miles down the road.

Beautiful setting. We practically lived outside, perfectly contented to listen to the river and swing in the hammock. It was a delightful place to call our home away from home!

The house was just what we wanted. It was very close to Glacier National Park, as well as the meeting hall where we had meetings daily. It had gorgeous views out the back door and from every direction. The home was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much! The hosts were great. It was everything we'd hoped for.

We booked this because of the outdoor area with the walk down to the water. Also, because of the close proximity to Glacier National Park. It provided everything we needed. The dining room and bedroom furniture was a bit dated, but the beds were comfortable and the pictures were accurate. I cannot complain. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great for a family

Very clean and well kept property. Was the perfect place for our Glacier NP visit. Was prefect size for our group traveling. The backyard was very relaxing with great views of the river. Would stay again!

Absolutely no complaints. Awesome location so close to everything for West Glacier. Beautiful property right on the river with great restaurants and stores that are super close. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful back yard views and outdoor living

Easy check in, very nice hosts. A very decent home and well equipped. We practically lived in the beautiful back yard . Only 15 minutes to Glacier Park.

Wedding at West Glaicer

This location is perfect. The property is very relaxing and was perfect for out group. We came in from different states, thus gave us a place to visit. We will definitely book this again. Thanks for the ease in commutation.

Wonderful place to stay

It was perfect. Clean and just how it was described. Close to the park and nearby towns. It was a great place to come back to after a long day hiking around Glacier National Park and relax by the river.

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. I wish I had brought fishing waders as the river bank is quite steep and bank fishing was difficult. The location is a short distance to the park and not far from Whitefish. Would stay again.

Perfect Stay near Glacier West entrance

Great property and location! Lots of nice touches. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed and even had some paper goods and seasonings. We enjoyed the porch and the river! Would definitely go back!

Great stay!

This place was super cute! Pictures were accurate and it felt a lot bigger than pictures depicted. Fully stocked kitchen, which was quite large, beds were comfortable, lovely backyard and we walked to the river to watch the sun set each night. Grocery store in town and about 15-20 min from the West Glacier entrance. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again!

Great location and view

The location of this cabin is amazing! So close to GNP. The backyard view is so peaceful and beautiful. Cindy is a great host and communicated well. The beds and linens were comfy and the house was well stocked with the basics. We enjoyed our short stay and can't wait to come back some day!

Great Location and Comfortable Stay in Hungry Horse

Cindy's place is the perfect location to relax near Glacier National Park. Very comfortable house and stocked with everything you need. The outdoor space is amazing with a lot of seating for everyone. We loved grilling outside and having a view of the river. Cindy was always quick to respond to any questions i had. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Incredible Location

We came here primarily to spend most of our days at GNP and it was everything we needed. Home was everything we needed and had everything we needed as well. Back yard was incredible and was where we spent most of our time hanging out. Owner was very responsive and very helpful whenever we needed something. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to stay near the park!

Perfect loaction

We stayed here for my 40th birthday as a base camp for Glacier National Park. It was the perfect place. Kitchen stocked well, bathroom stocked well. Clean house. Very cozy. Cindy was always quick to responds and very helpful.

Great place to stay!

If you are headed to Glacier National Park this is a place to stay. It takes maybe 10 minutes to get to the entrance to the park. It is located several blocks from a coffee shop and several restaurants. The best part is that when you’re done visiting the park or doing your activities you can come back to your place and enjoy a glass of wine by the river.

Gorgeous setting

Loved this place. The yard was heaven. Actual house was even bigger then the listing made it seem. Only complaint was it smelled like someone had been smoking inside. But overall, definitely worth it!
