Site tres agreable

Vacances en famille ,tres beau sejour en Alsace dans un logement au top .Commodités, proximité avec les lieux à visiter ,charmand petit village ,ravis davoir fait connaissance avec la petite boulangère et le vigneron bio .A refaire sans hesiter .

Like a dream!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is all it promises in the photos and in the description. Bertrand was such a gracious and helpful host that we are already planning a return trip. The town and surrounding areas are beautiful and full of history...and be on the lookout for storks! Thank you for the marvelous memories.

Wonderful Apartment in Hunawhir

We have stayed here on many occasions and are always drawn back. Bertrand and Penelope always make you feel so welcome and they are always available should you need them. The property is always exceedingly clean and comfortable. It is situated in the centre of the Village which is very peaceful. There is a shop and a couple of very good restaurants nearby. The facilities in the Apartment are also excellent with plenty of seating and very comfortable beds. Looking forward to another visit!

One of the best homes ever

The photos don't do justice to Bertrand & Pénélope's wonderful home. It was an absolutely perfect stay—in a space with true character and charm. We were impressed by how spotlessly clean the home was, and the bottle of wine and cake were wonderful welcome presents.

Excellent

We have stayed in Bertrand and Penelope’s beautiful apartment on 3 occasions. They are always very helpful and caring. The apartment is beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean. It really is a home from home. The village of Hunawhir is delightful very peaceful and surrounded by Vines. There is a small provisions store within a minutes walk from the apartment and an excellent restaurant. There are many places to explore and a week is never enough. We will of course return.

Urige Ferienwohnung

Altes, aber sehr gut und liebevoll restauriertes Fachwerkhaus mitten in Hunawihr. Als Ausgangsbasis für Touren zu Fuß, per Fahrrad oder Auto im Elsass optimal. Am Abend sehr ruhig. Tante Emma Laden 80 Meter entfernt (frische Eier, Joghurt, Baguette), Restaurant ca. 100 Meter und Wein gibt es natürlich an jeder Ecke. Klare Empfehlung!

We enjoyed Hunawihr and our appartement very much!

A beautiful appartement in a beautiful little village. We travelled with our 2 month old baby en found everything we needed, even peace en quiet. The interior is very warm and charming, fresh flowers are everywhere. The appartement kept us cool during some hot days. The home-owner was very helpful in every way. Hunawihr is perfect for walks through the vineyards and as a starting point to visite villages and city’s around.

Wunderschön war es!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich vom Vermieter begrüßt und er war auch während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes sehr bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlt - Toll! Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach ein Traum und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist perfekt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren und Erkundungen der Weingüter. Im Ort selbst gibt es Restaurants und zu Fuß bei einem netten Spaziergang durch die Weinberge ist man in circa 30 Minuten in Ribeauvillé oder Riquewihr. In diesen Orten gibt es jede Menge Restaurants! Daher zusammengefasst: Eine echte Empfehlung für einen Urlaub im Elsass! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Super semaine en famille. Je voulais une location typique Alsacien et j'ai eu se que je voulais. L'appartement est propre, coqué, le propriété nous a bien accueillit et nous a offert des produits locaux. De nombreuses choses à visité dans les alentours, tous les matins petites promenades dans les vignes. Que du bonheur.

Un'esperienza fantastica!

Un soggiorno invidiabile in una casa tipica in un tranquillo paesino. Fiori freschi, un dolce e un vino ci hanno accolto in questa splendida casetta, molto accogliente. Siamo stati 4 giorni ma torneremo per godercela ancora. Il proprietario Bertrand gentilissimo, lo ringrazio di cuore!

Magnifique endroit, plein de charme au cœur des vignobles, très bien situé. Aurait mérité 5 étoiles si le chauffage n’était pas un peu faible en ce WE d’hiver. Mais nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Loved our stay!

I spent a lot of time choosing the homeaway apartment for our six night stay in Alsace. Pecause I am very particular and was visiting France with two people who had never been, I wanted to find a great place. Well I more than accomplished that by staying at one of Bertrand's and Penelope's apartments. They have recreated two Alsatian apartments with all the charm and decor of the region. These are newly completely remodeled apartments in a very old historic building. Our choice of staying in Hunawihr was perfect. This small vey quaint two is only between 5-10 minutes to the best villages to visit. These villages like Ricqhuir, Ribeauville. Bergheim and Obernai which is more like 35 minutes away are all bustling with locals and tourists. Because we visited in June, the amount of people was no problem. What we really enjoyed was returning to our small quiet village in its amazing setting of vineyards all around and getting away from it all at the end our days. The apartment we rented was on the third floor(American) second floor (France). It had two bedrooms with crisp white lines with lace trim and each hade hand painted armoires, closets.both rooms seemed to have queen size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The living kitchen area is so cozy and again designed to the style of back in the day. We cooked there numerous times and were very comfortable eating at the cute table and chairs. The bathroom was very spacious with a claw foot tub and shower head and shower curtain. Fresh flowers were placed in both the bathroom and kitchen.in the kitchen we found a bakery bread/cake that is sold in all the bakeries in Alsace and a bottle of sparkling wine as welcome gifts. The apartment is so charming in the Alsace style and the remodel is really incredible. Bertrand and Penelope are very sweet people who extended a lot of warmth to us when we arrived and during our stay. I would highly recommend visiting the castle Kronenbourg near Bergheim and Mont St Odile near Obernai and the villages too. The views and self tours were awesome! We truly found this area of Alsace and the apartment magical!

Stilvoll und perfekt

Ausgesprochen stilvoll eingerichtet, mit historischem Flair, ruhig gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Hier fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause. Ein Dorfkern aus einem Guss, man findet hier zwei Restaurants und einen kleinen Laden. In wenigen Minuten ist man im Wald und in den Bergen. Riquewihr und Ribeauvillé erreicht man in einer halben Stunde durch die Weinberge zu Fuß, gut auch mit dem Fahrrad. Sehr günstiger Standort zur Erkundung der Gegend. Sehr sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.

Wundervolle Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in der sehr hochwertigen mit viel Detailliebe eingerichteten gemütlichen Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfbereit. Die Lage zwischen Riquewihr und Ribeauvillé (beide 30 Gehminuten entfernt) ideal.

Wunderschönes Appartment in herrlicher Umgebung

Das Appartment ist liebevoll bis ins Detail in einem Haus von 1603 eingerichtet und enthält bei allem Bemühen um eine zeit- und stilgerechte Einrichtung moderne Geräte (z. B. einen Induktionsherd, Satelliten-TV, freies WLan) und eine sehr gut funktionierende Dusche. Die Einrichtung umfasst alles, was das Herz begehrt, und wird von Bertrand und Penelope, den herzlichen und reizenden Vermietern, fürsorglich erklärt. Hunawihr ist ein entzückendes, abseits der großen Touristenrouten gelegenes Weindorf mit viel Charme, guten Restaurants in fußläufiger Nähe von der Wohnung (2 Min. Fußweg) und einem gut sortierten Tante-Emma-Laden für frisches Brot und kleinere Besorgungen gleich um die Ecke. Den Hund kann man ohne Probleme ausführen, sogar Kotbeutelspender gibt es am Wegesrand. In je einer halben Stunde Fußweg durch die Weinberge erreicht man Riquewihr und Ribeauville. Direkt hinter dem Dorf beginnen schöne Wanderwege. Ein echtes Urlaubsparadies!

What a lovely place to stay! Fantastic!

The apartment is located in an old (historic) building, which has been very tastefully renovated. The entire place is absolutely charming! You can tell by every detail, that the owners put all their heart into making this a very special place. It was also very clean and very well equipped, providing free WLAN/WiFi. We always parked the car on the street, right in front of the house, there were no problems at all in finding a place to park the car. Hunawihr itself is a quiet little town, perfectly located to discover the beautiful surrounding and villages. We absolutely loved our stay at this place! Thanks again for everything!! We will be back, that's for sure :-)! Susanne

Un nid campagnard au cœur de l'Alsace

L' appartement rénové par nos hôtes dans un style campagnard est très fonctionnel : charmant et confortable. Pénélope et Bernard sont aux petits soins pour leurs vacanciers. Le village est très calme, il est idéalement placé pour visiter l’Alsace du nord au sud et pour faire un saut à Fribourg ou Bâle. Pour le coté intendance : Une petite épicerie de village et un restaurant excellentissime à 30 mètres, un super marché à Ribeauvillé 3 Km rajoutent à la qualité de l'emplacement. Nous avons cherché des points négatifs pour faire plus vrai, mais nous n'avons pas trouvé. Pour ceux qui souhaiteraient sortir des incontournables, mais passionnantes visites du Haut Koenigsbourg, du Mt Saint Odile, des villes de Colmar et Riquewihr, plusieurs coups de coeur "sportifs" de toute la famille ; la découverte, via les GR, des vieux châteaux forts perdus dans les montagnes, la visite de la Mine d'argent St Louis Eisenthür (1 heure à 200 mètres sous terre ), le Viel Armand (HMW), ballade de 1 à 3 heures au milieu de la bataille des Vosges. Einfach nur schön!

Superschöne, liebevoll renovierte Ferienwohnung in einem historischen Haus mitten in Hunawhir. Hier stimmt einfach alles, bis auf das letzte Detail wurde bei der Einrichtung geachtet (sogar im Badezimmer standen frische Blumen!), dabei aber auch Wert auf eine topmoderne Ausstattung gelegt. Von den Vermietern wurden wir unglaublich nett und freundlich empfangen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit- wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
