"We loved our stay at the Bourbon Co 9 house. Peaceful country setting and only a 15 minute drive to Fort Scott. This house has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to the game room. We were in this area for a Jeep trip. Kansas Rocks OHV park is only 15 minutes away and we had a blast. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back."

"We had an unexpected trip to Fort Scott, Ks and when I booked this home there was a slight miscommunication but thankfully the Host, Sandy and Vrbro worked together to make sure we got in on are day of schedule. "Nice place to stay. Very neat & clean. The kitchen was missing a few amenities such as paper plates & a few coffee pods for the Keurig. But, there was a regular coffee maker if you wanted a full pot. Paper plates are needed due to melamine being the only type of dinnerware available. Melamine is not microwaveable. Plenty of towels for a shower. We would recommend The Cabin."

"The home is very nice, clean and spacious with views of the lake and a dock for kayaking. We really enjoyed our stay. Most of us made use of the kayaks. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pot, pans, etc. We enjoyed a wonderful Easter dinner with our family on the deck overlooking the lake. "Of the three different lake houses we have rented, this was by far the best equipped. There's 2 kayaks (one for 2 adults, one for child), a lily pad, paddle board, life vests, noodles for the water, Cornhole, Poleish, KanJam, tennis rackets & more for yard games, and a pool table, and board games for indoors. In addition the kitchen & bathrooms were well-equipped. Also the lake water is very clean."

"Perfect place! The small details mean so much. Beds are comfy, coffee bar is stocked, snacks on the counter, and bottled water in the refrigerator, and very soft towels. Air conditioning worked awesome, which is very important in this Missouri heat and humidity. The place is super clean and beautifully decorated. Loved every detail. I will be staying again!! "
