The unit was lovely and had such a relaxing feel. The view was amazing. The information book that was available was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the host responding rapidly when there was a minor issue. 10/10 would stay here again!

The condo was comfortable and very welcoming… with one exception: it’s was dirty when we arrived around 8pm at night. The linens weren’t changed, the kitchen was a mess, and there were dirty clothes littered around the place.We had been traveling all day and were ready for some much-needed rest, this was a huge inconvenience.Thankfully, the property manager managed another condo in the same building and was able to get us in for the evening. And the property owners compensated us with that night being free.This course of action was appreciated and acceptable to us and we went on to have a wondered stay. Five stars apart from this and still four stars anyway.

Excellent property

Although the beaches are not usable due to ecological reasons, the location is stellar. The was super comfortable and accommodating. Norberto’s is definitely and “swanky” spot with the best bartender, Andres. I would definitely revisit Palmas Del Mar. Thanks for the experience.

Pasamos unos días bien relajantes en familia. Es la segunda vez que nos quedamos en esta villa. La vista es preciosa, la villa está muy bien equipada, super limpia, bien espaciosa. Las piscinas son espectaculares. Estamos sumamente agradecidos por las atenciones de Nancy. ¡Esperamos regresar!

Gorgeous Resort for Restful Vacay

Beautiful resort with private beaches and all the amenities. The condo met all of our needs and then some. We had ages 10-77 with us and everyone had a great trip. The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen I’ve experienced with a rental. Pots and pans were great condition. Beds and linens were excellent quality and comfy. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. The patio has a beautiful view of the ocean. The resort is HUGE! However, we rarely saw other guests. Felt like we had the dragon pool to ourselves everyday, which was our favorite. We felt safe and secure in the area. We ordered groceries from the Wal-Mart and made dinner a few nights. We went out to local restaurants most nights. Humacao had limited restaurants, but we were 30-minutes from other areas of interest. This gave us an opportunity to explore the island, which we loved. I definitely recommend renting a car. The resort has several restaurants and a grocery store on-site. Although convenient, they were overpriced and underwhelming. I definitely recommend checking out other local restaurants. It was truly one of our best vacations. We look forward to returning.

Quiet getaway

We loved sitting out on the porch at night, listening to the peepers and the waves. Hot tub is one of the best I've ever used, right near the ocean, and with a wonderful view of the stars since there's very little light pollution.A peaceful place to get away from it all.The host was responsive, even allowing an extension on our checkout time, which we greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was beautiful and in the most ideal location! Access to the pools and beach was convenient. There were so many beautiful places to relax…beach, pools, and veranda of the condo. The grounds are well taken care of and the people were all friendly! I would definitely recommend this luxury condo!!PS-The owner and manager are really helpful!

Delightful, would recommend

The property was great for a peaceful getaway. The condo was well appointed and we really enjoyed the views from the patio. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. I will also point out that the beach was nice. There was some seaweed in January, but we could still enjoy a quiet swim in the ocean. Overall, a very nice stay. We did find we had to drive a fair bit, because we wanted to do kayaking and boating tours. But that was our choice.

Quite, peaceful and beautiful!

Ocean views for days, condo was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Pools were a lot of fun. Beach access was limited due to erosion but we found other access fairly easily. The condo is within 2 gated communities- and there are a number of wonderful restaurants all within 10 min. We'll be back!

Palmas Del Mar, first visit to resort

The location was fair, about an hour south from activities we chose (rainforrest, zipline, old San Juan, fajardo catamaran). Getting to a full grocery store was about a 30 min drive. The grocery store in the Palmas Del Mar market is a corner store and has no produce. We will prob stay somewhere diff next time as a result of location preference. Security on-site was five stars. Condo overall was clean, but needed a deep clean. Master bedroom closet doors were covered in mold. Washing machine also had tons of visible mold. Bathrooms, floors, and kitchen were all clean upon arrival. Guest bedroom also smelled heavily of mold. The air conditioning in kids room was broken. We reported it but nobody came to repair it as promised. Plenty of clean linens were provided. We rented a golf cart, it was not needed, our kids preferred driving our car due to the numerous speed bumps within the resort. The pool club was fun but cost an additional amount per day, a cost that was not disclosed in advance. Also we needed special permission to enter, for a family with a kid we prefer to be able to come and go on our own schedule without having to meet someone to let us in. The facility hot tub was huge and really amazing. Our contact person was responsive and helpful to our questions and requests during our stay. Palmas del mar is a beautiful place, more suited as a living community rather than a short term vacation resort.

Beautiful Views

Very clean, well appointed 3 bedroom apartment facing the ocean in the acclaimed Palmas Del Mar resort. We loved that there was everything we needed in the kitchen, and the bathrooms were also well stocked (shampoo, conditioner, soap). Beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler for beach/pool outings, even snorkels and masks. So much to do just within the resort, we didn’t even make it to all of the pools. The beach was steps away from the our place, and so was the pool. Horseback riding was minutes away, and many places to eat on the resort and right outside of it. We would definitely rent again. Good communication with owner/property manager. A wonderful place to relax and spend time with family/friends.

Lovely apartment with spectacular views

The property and location was very private and secure, there is one security gate to enter Palmas Del Mar and another to entire the apartment / condo complex. The condo was clean, stocked with kitchen essentials, beach towels, etc and the views from the rooms and deck was just spectacular. My family was two adults and two kids 7 & 11. We definitely would recommend to families with kids. The pools were warm and fun to pass time and relax. We did rent a golf car for our stay and only used it once a to tour the property. Because Palmas Del Mar is so big we found using our car was more efficient than the golf car. Overall a 5 star property and easy access in and out.

Wonderful Property

The property is gorgeous - the photos do NOT do it justice. The two pools we had access to were wonderful - so clean and fun! We stayed with our almost 2 year old and it was perfect. The property manager and host went out of their ways to make sure our stay was amazing. Truly a great experience.

Paradise!

We had an amazing time on our Spring Break vacation. The condo was clean and had every amenity you could want. The property is gorgeous. The view from the balcony enjoying coffee each morning will be missed! Can’t wait to come back, soon.
