Beautiful, quiet and welcoming! We've never stayed at a place where there were so many little thoughtful amenities!! Feminine products, hair ties, k-cups, a treat basket, a S'mores kit, so many games - the list goes on! We've been doing girls' trips for years and this has been our favorite because of the thoughtfulness! Plus, the water, the view and the location are an A!! Thank you for sharing your home!!

A Week of Bliss, Fish, & Glorious Sunsets

The house was spotless, well equipped, and the views are absolutely to die for! The beds were super comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were excellent. The half bath in the master was a life saver too! The hosts were quick to answer any questions about the house or extended area and truly thought of everything that you may need to enjoy the lake, relax, or prepare some perfectly grilled steaks and lobster!

Perfect Lake House

A perfect lake house stay. Great location right on the water with a dock. All the lake toys were provided and the fire pit was outstanding. The owners were great and met all of our needs. Plenty of parking and just an overall great spot to enjoy the lake.

Thoughtful Hosts

Perfect lakeside cottage with an incredible sunset view. We were in town to fish the Penobscot and fished Pushaw as well. Beautiful, quiet lake (midweek Sept) with good fishing! The house has a beautiful lake view from the upstairs great room, a giant comfy couch, and everything is well organized and thought of - from toiletries to a stocked keurig to waters snacks and a smores kit. Really appreciated all the extras!

Loved Lake Life

The weather was the only thing that hindered our vacation. Everything else was very nice and clean. They have thought of everything! We drove up from VA and my sister flew in from CA so we enjoyed the nice quiet camp life again like when we were kids. I hope to stay again next summer!

Perfect Family Getaway at the Lake

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful lake house! Jason and Kerri truly thought of everything, making our stay relaxing, fun, comfortable, and convenient. There was even a snack basket on the counter to greet us (which the kids LOVED!) All the beds were very comfortable, the lake house decor was spot on, shared spaces offered games, TV, and of course GREAT views of the lake. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials, even supplies for smores, and the kitchen sink offered a view of the lake. The gas stove worked great and the grill down by the water was just like we were at home. We enjoyed the fire pit, kayak and paddle board, cornhole, dozens of card games on the sunny picnic table, and of course lots of swimming and fishing! This lake house is perfect for people of all ages! The stairs into the water (with railings) made access to swimming a breeze. I would highly recommend this property, what a gem! A fun and relaxing week!

My wife and I stayed at the Loft with our daughter and her two children (ages 1.5 and 3.5) for a week at the end of Aug into Sept. What a great place for a Maine lake vacation! My wife and I are from Maine. We raised our children in this area and now we are all scattered elsewhere. The hope was to have a vacation that brought back memories of earlier times and the Loft delivered. It is located on a short dirt road with almost zero traffic which made it ideal for toddlers. The rented living space is on the upper level while the unfinished basement holds the laundry equipment. The open living room is comfortable, well furnished and provides great views of the lake, especially at sunset. The kitchen has all the basics and lots of little extras that were much appreciated. The entire space is charmingly decorated with a "lake" motif. We all felt very much at home, relaxed, and agreed it was the vacation experience we all wanted. The lack of a sandy beach area is a drawback for young children, but in our case we had friends nearby with a sandy beach. But it does include a nice dock which provided an opportunity for the two boys to catch their first fish! And the two provided kayaks can be launched from the dock. The waterfront area includes a large firepit and space to sit and relax or play games (beanbag boards were included!). Firewood and kindling are provided for campfires.

Everything you need is right here

This house is one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. It shows the hosts put a lot of thought, time, and care into this place. Literally everything you can think of is located in the house; from first aid kit, to toys, to a comfortable seating area. And it’s located right on Pushaw Lake! We traveled with my husband’s parents, us, and our 1 year old and seriously this house had everything for everyone, we were all impressed. The hosts seem incredibly sweet and very easy to communicate with. The rule book was very clear and easy. I can keep going on and on…. It’s great, stay here.

Peace on Pushaw

The house in Pushaw was so cozy and comfy. The hosts thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room for our family so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. My favorite part of our stay was watching my 16-year old fish in the lake with his best childhood friend.
