My wife and I spent a week here, and really enjoyed it. It was late September, and was really peaceful. The host was very welcoming and wanted to make sure we let him know if we needed anything, but everything we needed was there We've been to several Vrbo's, and this is the first one we decided we are definitely going back to. Just need to wait for next year's VT football schedule to come out so we can plan around it.

Everything about our stay was awesome! The cottage has everything you need and more and it was so cozy and perfect for our trip. The view is beautiful, it’s right on the lake with the fire pit, hottub, etc. We loved our stay and would love to stay again next year, we had an awesome weekend!

This house hit all of our criteria. 1.) Impeccably clean when we walked in. 2.) Friendly, communicative, and gracious host. 3.) Well stocked -- everything we needed was present at the house including recreational needs such as games, various boating options, etc. We very thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Best Family Vacation!

We instantly felt right at home upon arrival. The house was larger than expected based on pictures! Comfortable beds and the sunroom was awesome! We hated to leave! We will definitely be back and tell everyone about this place!! Owner very responsive as well! Well worth the money. The quiet cove and water amenities were amazing!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway

From the moment we approached the cottage, we were impressed by the view, the decks, the firepit, and the common areas of the house were larger than we thought they would be (always a good thing, especially as it was raining off and on for most of our stay). Each night we enjoyed the upper deck and it's expansive view of the peaceful cove. If weather didn't allow, we enjoyed the lovely view from the screened in porch. I tried kayaking (as there was one there for our use) for the first time and really enjoyed that. If we decide to return to SML again someday, we will definitely try to stay here again.

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed the charming, spacious, and relaxing cabin, especially the unbeatable lake views and access. It was absolutely gorgeous in the autumn mornings. The hot tub was amazing too. Thank you!

Perfect family getaway.

Marc was a wonderful host and attentive to every need. We loved the location, amenities, and views of the lake. Unfortunately, we had a very wet week, but the sunroom was a lifesaver. Also enjoyed movie watching in front of the big gas fireplace and relaxing around the fire pit when we had a dry evening.

We loved this cozy cabin! It had all the amenities and was so easy to feel at home right away. We used the kayak and canoe to explore the lake and loved the dock. The location was convenient and super close to the state park. We couldn’t ask for anything more in a weekend getaway.

The house was clean and comfortable. Good view of the lake. we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit (too warm for a fire) but great view of the lake and very comfortable with a nice breeze. The house was a little on the dark side, but the sunroom was very bright and comfortable. the only negative was the wood on the dock and the walkway/stairway to the dock was very rough, easy to pick up splinters and couple areas were tripping hazards. The bottom dock where you'd swim from had no furnishing and nowhere to hang towels, caps, sandals etc., the table and chairs on the top deck needs a good power washing. overall the amenities were great and we did not want for anything, and we would certainly stay there again.
