"Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful."

"We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. The home was clean and Kris was so accommodating!"

"Water wasn't Hot, just a little more than warm. Refrigerator - freezer side door holders still fly off and everything hits the floor. Brought it up last year, nothing was fixed. Washer and dryer look identical, would be nice if they were labeled. And the tree on the right side of the driveway should be cut and removed. It cost me $2,000 for a new mirror. TV's should at least have local channels."

"Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!"

"The Villa is beautiful with a nice layout that will accommodate a multigenerational group well. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a great view of the lake out the back windows and it's located minutes from Giants Ridge Ski Resort. We will definitely try to come back."

Starting after booking, the hosts / owners were happy to answer any questions and help us prepare for the trip even before we arrived. "Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!"
