We had a good stay, wouldn't return. Weekend breakfast timing is 0800-1000 but we were offered 0700-0900 as the only people in the hotel and the owner had other plans. Very noisy if you're in the front of the property in flat 1 twin room but apartment is large and well serviced

Romantic quirky cottage in Hay On Wye
The host were extremely helpful and responsive. The cottage was well located for Hay On Wye, it was also well equipped. The only slight negative is the road noise if you aren't used to it.
