"A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather "

"Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. "

"Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍"

"A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. "

"Totally surprised how nice the room was in the Stag. Room was immaculate, everything worked, cleaned and replenished with tea/coffee and biscuits, bed made and clean towels, Yes!!! Every day. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us, if I wanted anything it was given and more without question. The location was great for getting into Wroxham and for driving elsewhere. Thank you for our lovely week to all the staff. "
