Highly Recommended.

Excellent hosts and property with lots of interesting photos and posters on display. Extremely clean room and a really nice shower. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and gave great advice about local amenities. Good location for local bars and restaurants whilst the centre is around 15-20 minute stroll along the main road or sea front. The beach is only a couple of mins walk and in sight of the property. Would highly recommend.

Home away from home

We visited this property for the 6th time. Do I need to say more. This is really a second home for us. Lovely house, lovely hosts and we love the peace and quiet there, with the benefits of the busier Brighton nearby. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic!

it was wonderful! on the advice in advance of arrival or on the spot. Ian was very friendly, nice and happy. the room is decorated with a lot of love and the bathroom is fantastic. in 2 minutes you can walk to the beach and in less than 20 minutes walk in the city. The 'seven sisters' are very easy to reach by public transport and it takes just 1 hour to get to london. gladly again!

The boathouse truly is an immaculate oasis of calm, beautifully designed and restored, with a lovely homely atmosphere. I was impressed by the clever interior design that reflects the local surroundings and the creative interests of the lovely hosts. Before my arrival I asked for eatery recommendations and the hosts were very helpful and informative. Ian quickly replied with a curated list which I greatly appreciated. This was my first experience of homeowner home-sharing. All I can say is that Ian and Matt have set the bar high - it really is worth 5 start and I highly recommend it. Ian and Matt recommended a local cafe for a delicious breakfast, which set me up for the day at an outdoor festival.The gorgeous bedroom room was larger than it looked on the photos and the bathroom reminded of a spa. The seafront is a few steps away and despite the sun hiding, I took a pleasurable stroll into Brighton after a restful night's sleep. I only stayed for one night but I'd be very happy to return to this excellent Oasis of Calm.
