Such a beautiful place! Well stocked with everything we needed: pans, kitchen utensils, games for kids and even a basket of beach towels! It was great having 3 fridges and they have an ice machine!. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. Bottom line, It was the perfect place for my daughter's 40th birthday get together.

Very welcoming!!! It just felt like home! Super clean and everything you could possibly need. Just a gorgeous place! Ralph, the groundskeeper, was amazing! He was on stand by for anything we needed! We will definitely be back!

The house was absolutely perfect for our stay with all of our kids and grandkids. We loved having so many separate bedrooms and bathrooms—it made everything so comfortable and convenient. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was the best equipped of any place we’ve ever stayed. There were plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and casserole dishes for everyone.The spacious common room made it easy for everyone to be together, even while different groups enjoyed their own activities. The view and location were beautiful, and the pool was a huge hit with the young kids (ages 2–6). Evenings around the gas fire pit were wonderfully relaxing.Ralph, the caretaker, was outstanding—always available to answer questions and proactive about checking in to make sure everything was perfect.

This house is magnificent! Everything about this property is amazing. The host responds promptly to questions, Ralph gives a great tour when you arrive, is a wealth of information, and is also very responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciated having both a drip coffeemaker and a Keurig, plus three fridges. Plenty of seating and beds for our group. The pool was lovely and there are pool towels so you don’t have to bring your own. Hammock and pool lounge chairs were nice. Caught lots of fish—used shrimp for bait. Had fun crabbing also and caught lots of crab. Enough to have a seafood dinner one night! Kids and adults had fun playing chess, darts and pool. And we had a blast playing cards at the beautiful card table. There is a lovely bar—made us feel all fancy. The furniture was comfortable and plentiful. Had two people with walkers and appreciated the walk-in shower downstairs and the two downstairs bedrooms. Bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and the master bedroom is impressive. This is just such a beautiful place. The host has gone to great lengths to make it perfect. We had a fabulous vacation.

This home is a must for anybody having a large family staying in the Kemah area. The home was as advertised with plenty to do including swimming, fishing, darts, pool table, poker table and a very large TV. Our family was there for a wedding and it made it very convenient for the 11 of us who stayed at the property. Our sons and daughter-in-law wedding party had their makeup done at the property which was large enough to accommodate all. Overall a five-star plus for this property. The view is to die for.

Annual Boat Trip

We travel the Texas coast by boat with a large group of friends annually. This property was by far the very best place we have ever stayed. Was it perfect, no. I am sure some people will find something wrong with it. It was perfect for us. The bedrooms were nice sized, except for the primary suite which was the size of the average home. We could have held a dance in the primary suite. The open floor plan - game room- living area- kitchen - was perfect for our large group. There were many little things that were nice touches such as a chess set and several other indoor and outdoor games. The golf cart was a must. We used it very little but in the Texas heat that walk to the Boardwalk would have been miserable. The pool was also very nice. The only negative is that the boat docks need some attention.

Great place for families to gather

My siblings and our families came to celebrate our dad's 80th birthday with my parents. There were 13 of us in total, and we had so much space and there was so much to do just within the house or just outside of it. Pool table, poker table, chessboard, darts, Scrabble, giant TV, swimming pool, fishing off the pier. We also cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners at the house and there were plenty of dishes and kitchenware, making it breeze to feed so many. Lots of fridge space (3 refrigerators!) and seating. We had an amazing time here and hardly left the property (because of the weather). But we did go to the Kemah Boardwalk once and it was very close! Highly recommend this property for a gathering place for multiple families.

The Perfect 4th of July Getaway with Friends and Family!We just wrapped up the most unforgettable 4th of July weekend at this incredible waterfront VRBO , and honestly, we’re still glowing from the experience. This place was everything we hoped for—and so much more.From the moment we arrived, the ocean view took our breath away. The house sits right on the water, with a sweeping panorama that made every sunrise and sunset feel like a postcard. Whether we were lounging by the pool, grilling out on the patio, or sipping morning coffee on the deck, that view was always front and center.The layout was absolutely perfect for a big group—plenty of space for both adults and kids to spread out, relax, and enjoy themselves. Every room was spotless with laid-back charm that instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for prepping meals.The fishing pier was a favorite spot throughout the weekend for the men. At night, we watched fireworks light up the sky from the water’s edge—it was absolutely magical.The pool was a favorite spot for the kids as well but there was something for everyone, from fishing, .the pool, playing pool, darts, games, listening to music or just soaking in the ocean air.Our host was exceptional—warm, responsive, and clearly thoughtful about every detail. He made check-in a breeze. If you’re looking for a place to make lasting memories with the people you love, this is it. We’re already talking about making it our new annua

Excellent for our family

We have been doing vacation with kids and grandkids for over 10 years now, and this was one of the best, if not the best house, for our family. The view when you walk in the door is a knockout; we enjoyed it every waking minute. The pool is fun and situated with great visibility for parents to keep an eye on pre-teen kids swimming. The dock has great access to the water (not for swimming, but kids enjoyed walking out on it, and great for fishing for one of our party). There’s a lot for kids and adults to do in and around the house, and the Kemah Boardwalk is an easy walk away. Our only concern for coming back next year is the need for more king beds to accommodate our tall guys who are used to sharing a king sized bed. Communication with the owner and the caretaker have been great. Highly recommend.
