I would definitely recommend this house. It was perfect for our needs. Being close to Christmas, we wanted to bake some cookies. The kitchen was well stocked with blender, mixer, crockpot, baking sheets, etc. We were amazed at all the options we had. Our grandkids loved the closets for hide/seek games and looking off the balconies at boats and distant ships. Our host was super accommodating. We didn’t have to worry about trash day. They came and pulled trash cans to the street for pickup and came back to put the cans away. All we had to do was enjoy our stay and we definitely did enjoy it.

Perfect location - home very welcoming & well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for Christmas dinner. The deck was so relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was lovely. The house is wonderful. View is great. All bedrooms are on the second story. Just for future guests… two houses down a house is being built so construction is loud. Otherwise it was perfect.

Really liked the location. Was a bit dated. Needs some TLC. Problems were taken care of in a timely manner. Had an ant/roach problem around the kitchen. Overall decent property and served it's purpose. We would stay there again.

What was supposed to be a nice family getaway ended up in a huge fiasco about 3 days into our vacation. The management company, Stay Porter, started to send us emails about whether we’re dressed appropriately. Initially they refused to clarify the origin of the accusations but after sending dozens of emails they came with a rather questionable explanation that a ‘concerned neighbor’ filed a complaint. We still have not been fully informed about the issue but there couldn’t have been a situation where anyone from outside could’ve possibly seen us being dressed inappropriately. There must’ve been some other means on which the management company conducted some sort of surveillance. As this situation became so incredibly creepy, we decided to vacate the property midway our vacation. Reimbursement efforts have been incredibly painful and unpleasant as the management company did not seem to be bothered at the slightest that our vacation has been ruined and that their behavior was far from appropriate.

Great last-minute find!

After a last-minute change to our vacation plans, we stumbled on the Pelican's Landing and glad we did. Communication with the property managers was great, smooth and responsive. The decks were fantastic to relax and watch the sunrise, the pelicans fish and the sailboats. Three bathrooms were a great bonus and the common areas were well supplied. Appreciated the cozy throws for the evenings. Rating would be a 5-star, but there were some minor maintenance issues that need a little TLC. In addition, while it's advertised that only 'starter packs' of toiletries are supplied, for just 3 of us we had to purchase toilet paper after just 3-4 days. Provided rolls were small and didn't stretch. It seems this could be something upgraded for little expense. There was a more immediate need issue that management was quick to address and that was appreciated. Location was convenient to several areas and it was easy on/off the highway. Neighborhood was quiet at night. Overall we enjoyed the space and having areas to stretch out. The views were worth the stay. Thanks for being our Plan B. Cheers.

Lovely Waterfront Home

We loved our stay in Seabrook at Pelican's Landing. My kids absolutely loved spending time on the decks watching the pelicans dive into the water. The space was well furnished, comfy, and clean. Lots of fun local restaurants and shops to explore. It was a great location to visit NASA and a short drive to Galveston. The management company's check-in and check-out instructions were very easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved it!

Literally right on the Ocean, plenty of bathrooms & place was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. But place did need more towels and wash cloths!

Pros and Cons

Beautiful view. Lots of space for our family Lots of shopping and cute shops board walk nearby We appreciated the 3 bathrooms and games. Cons We arrived pretty late at night and couldn't find the location and then couldn't find the keylock. Called mgnt several times. I wouldn't say they were overly helpful or friendly just a matter of fact attitude. The house had a musty smell There were dirty dishes placed in the cupboard. Refrigerator was dirty No cleaning supplies. Unable to watch Netflix it gave a message t h at someone else was using it Washer machine stopped working. No trash bags. I was expecting more from our host. There were crazy mosquitoes so it would have been nice to have it along with cleaning supplies and trash bags.

Relax and Have Fun

The house was lovely, enjoyed all the amenities, but do not recommend for anyone who have physical challenges because lots of stairs, otherwise very relaxing. Close to boardwalk and Galveston. Lots of things to do or just relax and have fun.

Ideal Property and Location for a Bay Escape

Excellent property and location. First the location: - we live in town in Houston and wanted an entire house on the water for a quick escape; - Seabrook is an incredible little fishing village only 45 minutes from downtown. We took advantage of the fish markets (great for grilling), Kemah Boardwalk, and nature trails (very underrated but awesome for a morning run); - the house itself is directly on the water. We spent most of our time on the covered deck, listening to music and watching the sailboats on the bay. Next the property: - perfect for entertaining family and friends. Wide open downstairs family area and several outdoor covered decks for congregating. - house is clean, exactly as marketed, and a cool nautical theme. My inner redneck especially appreciated the stickers from prior visitors on the deck. Kind of a cool touch. Highly recommend and will stay there again. It ended up cheaper than multiple hotel rooms for our group. And the facilities were much nicer.
