DONT WALK AWAY - RUN!!!
Facility was nice. DRIFTRS, the management company, is really bad. We were there for 4 days. Upon arrival we noticed no toilet paper and half the light bulbs burned out. The place was so dark I needed a flashlight to use the kitchen. We reported these issues immediately. They told us to use kitchen paper towels as toilet paper and did not respond to all the burned out light bulbs. We woke up every morning with the apartment hot and stuffy. The NEST thermostat is programmed to continually reset to 76F so the place did not stay comfortable. Very annoying. Waking up every nice to a hot, humid, sticky room. The internet quit working as well. The TV is internet only so we had no internet and no TV for several days. No response from the management despite many calls and text messages. On Monday, with local building management present (unrelated to apartment management) we tried calling DRIFTRS together 3x during regular business hours. There was no answer and no call back - EVER. Extremely poor customer service. Many messages were left. If you book this property, be forewarned, there is zero customer service and there are many problems with the property. You are 100% on your own despite paying good money.

The property was clean but there wasn’t any tissue a almost done roll so I had to purchase more and we only had Wi-Fi the first night of our stay .. someone emailed and said they were checking on issue but no response or resolution

Property was fine for a 3 night stay. Bathroom tissue (toilet paper) was NOT provided. They provided paper towel (kitchen roll) instead and when I asked about it, Driftr Travels said they provide paper towel so that visitors can use it for whatever they want. That’s obviously not comfortable, and also not good for the plumbing. Also, during our stay we received an eviction notice from the on site property manager because Driftr Travels had not paid their rent.

The unit was not sufficiently stocked. One teaspoon, two salad forks, no blender, no light over stove. Had to get in over phone. Sponge for dishes was horrible. Lots of lies from Raven at drifter. No salt and pepper or any spice. Plan on walking a lot. I’d NEVER use Drifter Travels again.

Hello Scott Alletag, "THANK YOU" for giving us a negative rating without showing up yourself at the property. We did called you but you didn't answer our call or text plus you didn't even complete the pre check-in portal as informed. We have all the proof which we already informed to your reservation channel. Also, I would suggest other host like us not to host Scott Alletag or else these kind of guests will post negative review/ratings without experiencing.

PLEASE....PLEASE Listen and save yourself from the biggest mistake you will ever make. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT to book this or any location that is offered by Driftr Travel. We were locked out and suffered miserably trying desperately to have someone from the company call us so we could get into the unit. You have to download Apps that never worked and customer service that does not exist. We were locked out and sat in the hallway for over 4 hours begging someone to call us and help us. Expedia needs to remove this company immediately from their site and save people the worst experience they could ever have. YOU"VE BEEN WARNED.

Richard was totally a fraud guest. As he mentioned no one called is a false statement from him. We (Driftr Travels) did called him and informed him on how to check-in but he never wanted to check-in and asked for refund. Apart from this, as mentioned on Expedia every need to complete security deposit portion but Richard didn't complete it but still we tried to accommodate him. Expedia already knows that our process self check-in as mentioned on Expedia. We(Driftr Travels) already spoke with Expedia and told them remove Richard Anthony St Angelo from Expedia community.

The only complaint i have was the “no on site management”.. it was very difficult to check in.. but once i got in contact with them it was smooth from there on out. Hardik Trivedi helped me tremendously throughout my stay, even during “non business” hours.. I’m very grateful for that

This is the second time I stayed at this complex. This unit was slightly smaller than previous unit, but with a better view. Facilities were similar. The place is always clean. They respond immediately to any txt. Free parking in medical center area. I certainly would stay here again.

Not up to snuff
Check in was the most difficult I have ever booked through Hotels.com very disappointed. The app they made me download never worked, when we DID finally get into the unit there was someone in there washing sheets. They said the sheets were still damp so they had them in the dryer, he did offer to put the damp sheets on the bed for us but we told him to leave them going in the dryer, I really didn’t want damp sheets on the bed. The unit it self was “picked up” but I would NOT say clean. Location and layout of the unit and property were fine but I was expecting cleanliness and ease of use like a “condo hotel” that it was advertised as.

Thanks for your feedback Travis. You attempted to check in early which made your check in process a bit difficult also rushed the cleaning teams process. Our team would never offer to put damp items on the bed. You must have misunderstood our cleaning team’s request. You also have some other misunderstanding as our unit does not advertise as a hotel. This our process is a bit different than a hotel. Nevertheless we hope to see you again in the future and provide to you a 5 star experience.

Very nice place. Great security Excellent communication - instant response to any question asked. While Expedia said they cannot extend my stay by a day, contacting property directly worked. They said it has been booked but moved some guests around and extended my stay - it was immensely helpful, since I was managing multiple other issues. Thank you the property managers. I would certainly stay there again, and recommend to others.

Cleaning should be better - especially air ducts of AC have been extremely dirty! Pictures in Internet look really nice - actually it does not look that good... ;-( Bed is super old and uncomfortable Laundry detergent tabs, dish washer tabs and coffee tabs are only a few available ... as well as toilette paper... Communication with customer support was initially working after a few days this stopped entirely!?! A package of mine was lost by them... ?!

Hi Phillipp, Thanks for your feedback. As mentioned when receiving your pre-check in instructions, this is not a hotel. We stock a modest amount of supplies for your stay. Our team responded to every communication including a few where you screamed and yelled at our employees. We also indicate prior to arrival about packages protocol which you did not follow. We accurately display our units online so you get a sense of the exact room you will be staying in. Your experience didn't meet the mark that others have experienced while staying with us and we take all feedback into consideration to make other changes but there are some pieces you were notified about in advanced that you did not read or may have missed that could have aided your stay.

Great location but misses the mark
Seemed pretty clean. Didn't love it for a short stay. Difficult APP to set up. Check in process too tedious. No way to haul your things from parking to room, which is a problem for most people, including medical stays which we were. You could have a wagon or some kind of rolling cart like beach condos have. You advertise in the medical district. It is close to MDA where cancer patients go. You are not catering to medical issues visitors. And calling it luxury when you have no kitchen towels or rags, only two bath and 1 hand towel for a two night stay for two people? Seriously - no extra linens?! We had a spill in the kitchen and had to use our washcloth to clean it up. No tissues. How luxurious is it to have a roll of toilet paper by the bed? There also were two sets of kitchen lights not working. We could not see in the kitchen and had to bring the living room lamp in there - still didn't light the stove area - stove light out. Whomever cleaned it must've known they weren't working and the company still rented it. Also porch light didn't work. Point is that it's not fully functioning and they rent it anyway and want to come during your stay to fix something. Not cool. What was too cool was the AC reset each day at midnight and noon to 67 and froze us out. We could not control that preset. Be aware they have a Keurig but provide flavored coffee only (yuck) no plain and no sweetener or creamer. Little things make a huge difference when traveling.

Hi Roberta, thank you for your feedback. As indicated prior to your arrival, this is not a hotel. Our check in process is made for a self check in for that reason. We stock a modest amount of supplies for your stay such as coffee but it is your responsibility to stock any of your personal preferences. If you do not indicate the number of people on your stay, we prepare for the arrival of one person. The units include washer and dryers as well which are different than hotels. You may have missed the kitchen towels which are located in the kitchen drawers by the oven. The AC system can change at any time, but you did not contact us in order to help you change it if you had questions. We include in our check in guide a link to the help manual for the AC. If you have any issues during your stay, we are always here to help you so that you can have a pleasant stay but we cannot help you if you do not reach out to us.

Staying at this apartment made our visit to Houston so nice. After long, busy days we came back to this quiet apartment and were able to relax and feel at home. Easy walking distance to the medical centers. Clean, updated accomodations.

Hello, We have that you experienced the issues during your stay. It sounds like you may have not reviewed our check in guide nor answered any of our emails or phone calls to check in on your stay. We send multiple emails and make multiple phone calls and SMS messages. For instance, we do not use AT&T TV now. That was covered in your check in guide. So was your Wifi Access. We do a thorough cleaning before check in. If there were issues we would have gladly addressed anything.

It was a very neat well maintained property. Very well located and equipped. Safe and secure. Easy parking. Acces to the property was through an app. It was a new process for us. However it was easy enough to use.
