I don’t think the owner knows what a poor job the cleaning crew does

Nice place with lotta of space. Filthy floors and walls. Had to ask for bathtowels, washcloths and bedding as not enough. Missing lots of dishes( not enough plates and bowls for 8 guests. No Patio furniture because broke by previous guests so didn’t have any. Very noisy because of trains all night.

Nice but read reviews first

Started out frustrating. I did not receive the address or check in info for the property. I reached out to the property via the app 3 times, no response. I called VRBO about 1 1/2hrs before check in to get Info. I was given the property managers cell. I called him, he said my reservation was canceled. It was not. Once that was verified he had to have the place cleaned and I had to wait about 1 - 2hrs after check in for the place to be ready. I advised him I had no check in instructions so he sent them to me. Once me and my husband arrived we noticed there is only street parking. Once we found a parking spot we entered the townhouse. It was clean, smelled nice, temp was perfect for the husband but a little cold for my liking. The place has 4 levels. The 4th floor is the rooftop balcony. It was nice but it had no chairs, none of the balconies had seating. There were string lights but I do not think they were working. Bring fold up chairs for the balconies. There are no dresser drawers in any room and few hangers. Your living out of your suitcase on the floor. The bathrooms were very clean and nice but bring your own wash clothes as none are provided. Only dry towel and hand towels are provided. The kitchen is very nice has the simple amenities. Only issue I had was on the island and in the sink there was a constant flow of ants. There is a garage, you have to go thru front and open it. No code was given to use it. I asked for a hour or so later check out. He agreed.

Terrible! Do not rent!!!

I had rented these accomodations months in advance for my staff to stay during a robotics competition. I received confirmation and they took payment. The day of check-in (9 am), I receive an email saying there was an issue with the property and we couldn't stay there. The convention we were attending had over 50K attendees AND there was Taylor Swift concerts all weekend long. Everything was booked. Do NOT rent from this host. Completely unprofessional. VRBO as a company was helpful with the situation.

3br 3b Condo on St Charles

Myself and my coworker stayed at this residence for the McDonald American game. The location was pretty simple to find the area was nice really close to downtown. I emailed the owner to see if we can check in early because of the 4 o’clock check-in. No response for 48 hours once I arrived at 4 PM the access to the condo was very simple. Doors were unlocked. Condo was clean has three stories bedroom one on the first floor living area on the second floor two bedrooms on the third floor.. tried to check the locks. The initial code provided it was wrong. Spent about 30 minutes, trying to contact the owner to get the correct code for the door.. OWNER finally answered the phone send me the code however, the code to the garage door did not open so I was inconvenient every time we wanted to park in the garage we had to go through the front door open the garage, so somebody can drive around and park. The rooms were spacious, especially the master bedroom like the fact that everyone had their own restroom. Overall, I will give this a four out of five just because the communication wasn’t great between the owner and the garage door did not work. Really close to minute maid park in Toyota center which was a plus for us so I really think that this is a great place to stay. Just need to get the owner to communicate more effectively and get the garage fixed.

Really need home near Minute Maid. Had a minor need in the house (beeping smoke alarm) that property owner was super quick to fix (and you can't really plan for when those things are going to happen). But really enjoyed the say. Lovely location and at a great price.

Good location and responses to issues

The house was a good location for our attendance at a convention. We were able to walk back and forth and the neighborhood was nice. We did have some issues with the dryer and dish washer, but the managers were responsive and got them fixed as quickly as possible.

Great location and lots of space

We really enjoyed the space in this house. 3 bedrooms each with a bathroom, great living space/kitchen/dining area. Also had a loft area for more space, but didn’t have furniture. I would have enjoyed some outdoor furniture as well. We walked each day to the convention center for an event we were in town for. Great location and felt safe in the neighborhood. A little maintenance issues in the house (missing some lightbulbs so not every space had lights, a closet door off the hinges, smoke detector in living space was missing). The host was very accommodating, letting us have early arrival and late check out, which we appreciated very much as we had an early flight in and late flight out. Very responsive to any message! Overall very happy with our choice for our trip!

Nice property and convenient location

The property was as described and the owner communicated an appliance that was in repair during our stay prior to arrival. The property is nice and spacious and all appliances worked. Garage parking is a definite plus. Great location for short walks to bars and music/sporting events in the area. The owner Joel is accommodating and communicative. Will book here again if traveling to this part of downtown Houston again.

Could Be Better

The place was very specious however there were some things lacking. The first floor bedroom was missing a remote control, therefore we could not watch TV in that room. The garage was smelly which permeated throughout the first floor and caused gnats and flies in the house. It seemed the house was low on towels until we found a washer full of wet towels toward the end of our stay. The dryer was also full of linens that had not been folded and put away (unless that was our responsibility). The toilet paper holder fell off of the wall and one room was missing a lamp. The broom was missing a dust pan….which is small but annoying.

Quick overnight trip

We met our daughter and her boyfriend in Houston for a concert and stayed at this property. It is a great property with a fantastic location! The area felt safe and there were several bars and restaurants within a short walking distance that were open even on a Sunday night, which is great because some areas of downtown Houston are like a ghost town at night. Instructions to access the property were very clear and easy. It has a 2 car garage and there was a good bit of street parking available as well. The beds were very comfortable and the house is spacious and tidy. Great!

Spacious and Clean

The home was placed in a beautiful neighborhood, It is very spacious and was clean upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the house was designed beautifully. I would definitely recommend this home to stay in for a get away or if you are visiting Houston for the first time. There are nice restaurants near by and the neighbors were also helpful and friendly.

Cool place, great location, minimalist style

The house was clean and as advertised. Real basic on the homey touches, but that's ok. The kitchen is big, the house has a garage and sleeps at least six, but the coffee maker is hotel-room-tiny. The three of us staying there made 3+ pots each morning. But that was my only suggestion for improvement. Easy, effective communication with the owner re: check-in.

Last minute enjoyment

I’m going to be honest With this being a new account I was a little skeptical most new account aren’t what the picture seem to be but I was dead wrong about this place… this place was great the house was great the pictures was accurate it was actually better than I expected for the pay. The location is perfect. You can literally walk to a Astro games or even downtown to have a night out. I’ll be definitely staying here again when i come Back to houston.
