Mantenimiento urgente a esta propiedad
Reservamos este hotel de último momento, y sólo para pasar descansar unas horas en un viaje más largo, pero creo que no volvería a reservar. La habitación estaba limpia y las camas cómodas, pero el estado general del hotel no es el mejor. Las áreas comunes requieren un mantenimiento urgente (pintura, techos, jardinería, etc), el cual se hace más evidente por la falta de limpieza básica. Las escaleras y pasillos ni siquiera están barridos, en la parte inferior de las escaleras está lleno de colillas de cigarro, las áreas verdes están totalmente descuidadas, secas y con plantas muertas y algo de basura. La recepción tiene un olor raro, como a viejo o encerrado. El personal de recepción muy parco, ni una sonrisa. Puntos positivos: el personal de cocina que estaba en el restaurante durante el desayuno, fue muy amable, y el hotel tiene muy buena ubicación.

Dear Larissa: You really know how to make a hotel staff feel great; just give their property a 10 of 10 rating review. We appreciate that you have taken the time to provide a positive of your time with us. So often we hear just about negative things, not the positive things that the staff have worked so hard to make right. Starting with the restaurant and a free hot breakfast each morning, followed by the lounge and outdoor swimming pool, we have reopened most of our hotel services which were closed by Covid restrictions. We have future plans, which when implemented, are expected to make our accommodations better than ever before. These plans won't happen overnight but we are working to make them happen. Dear Anonymous: Thank you for rating your tune with us. We are beginning a big push to make our accommodations even better for all of our guests by restoring services temporarily curtailed by Covid. We have just had a 2 day trial run of reopening our lounge. The lounge is closed Sunday & we will see what happens next week. We expect that we will partially reopen restaurant services next week. We have renewed our license for the outdoor pool & we are continuing repairs & water quality control with a plan to reopen the pool soon. We are looking at restarting shortly all services closed by Covid. Dear John: I apologize for any inconveniences which you might have experienced during your stay at our hotel. In the State of Texas Covid-19 guidelines, primarily as related to social distancing, from the State (Governor), County (Judge) and City (Mayor & City Council) have temporarily closed our Restaurant, Lounge, Swimming pool, Exercise center & Business center for public safety reasons. The swimming pool is simply not large enough to properly distance and masks are not a reasonable option in a wet environment. Covid-19 social distancing is the reason that many entire Texas businesses are still not just partially closed but fully closed. We look forward to the time when Covid-19 guidelines once again allow us to fully provide those services which we have normally provided in the past. The staff was amazing ! The manager allowed us to check in early , worked through any issues and was just incredibly pleasant . I hope the property owner continues to invest in the property and the team because this was probably the best customer service I have ever seen.

Good value find. Mike the manager was super friendly and would check in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied with our stay. Staff is also super friendly. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and had lots of veggie friendly options. There is a bar on premises which is open till 2 am. Downtown Houston is 20-30 mins drive. Parking is free at this hotel with security monitoring/securing the premises after midnight. Rooms were clean and spacious. The pool wasnt open but it was because it was rainy and a bit chilly. The pool area is very pretty with a lot of grass and surrounded by palm trees which I would imagine would be very enjoyable in the summer! This place is a good value for the money and would highly recommend for the skeptical!

The owner was very kind, informative, and accommodating. We were in town to attend a funeral and he allowed my sister to leave her vehicle on the property, so that she could ride with us to the services. The room had a refrigerator that kept our drinks cold. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The black out curtains ensured we slept well. In spite of the circumstances, our stay was wonderful.

Nice Hotel with restaurant and friendly staff
At check-in I was greeted at the front desk with a smile and helpful staff which was a change from the last few hotels. They quickly got me checked in let me know to call if there are any issues and even showed me to my room. The room is much better then other ones in the area, and they have security patrol the parking lot at night which is great since i have a service truck. They is a restaurant bar inside which does have tables to sit so you dont need to be at the bar, pool tables and a few other bar type games. Overall for a low priced hotel, well lit parking lot, right off I-10, 15 minutes from Houston in traffic this is a great hotel for what you are paying. I would stay again if needed.

The property gas done an amazing job of renovating and is absolutely gorgeous now . the service from the front desk to the housekeepers and the ladies thst help with breakfast all are friendly and helpful and give amazing service. I recommend this spot highly on this side of town

Dear Eric:We appreciate that you have taken the time to tell us about how you enjoyed your recent stay at our hotel.It takes time but we are on track to eventually renovate all of our guest rooms. As we do so the rooms are classified as Nonsmoking & eventually we will become an all nonsmoking hotel. As we continue to make other improvements as time permits we have added a 2nd laundry room. We are evaluating adding Smart TV's to our guest rooms as well. We have not totally committed to Smart TV's but this trial period will determine what we do regarding the room TV's. If we chose that option property wide, the Smart TV's provide an expanded viewing experience for our guests. We have a plan for 2024 which we believe will make our accommodations better than ever before.Eric, whenever you are next in the Channelview area please consider staying with one more so that we might have another opportunity to provide the quality stay which every guest--and keep an eye open for more improvements which the owner has planned.
