  • NO CABLE, Wi-Fi, or Satellite!! Get Away From It All! Welcome to living A-top of the water and welcome to living A-little small. I would describe this place like a tiny home. If you are tall and don’t do well with tight small spaces, this is NOT the place for you. This adorable A-frame is equipped with everything you should need to enjoy a weekend A-way from it all! It is a two bedroom and one and a half bath with a sleeper sofa. This tiny A-frame sits on two acres in Yellow Creek. If you need to launch anything, Houston recreation area is 4 miles away via road.

The place was nice and quiet. Everything was as described. Only thing I would not recommend trying to take a truck and boat trailer down to the house. It gets really tight trying to turn around. But other than that nothing but good

Great Quick weekend stay

I fished from the balcony that was awesome, we rented a Pontoon boat at S4 boat rental and we drove it up to the property which has a Dock that was a nice bonus, overall a great stay.

Quiet Place on the Lake

The cabin was nice - right on the water. We were close enough to two restaurants that we liked and the hiking we came for. And the hosts were very responsive.

Peace and quiet at the lake

Wonderful little A-frame cabin in a secluded location at the lake. Really nice deck and floating dock to enjoy the lake. Property has everything you need for a few days of solitude.

Great trip A way from it all!

Very cute and secluded. Roomier that we thought. Has all you need and close to some beautifull places on this lake. The house is so close to the water and so easy to load in and out.

Great stay with peaceful setting

Beautiful and comfortable cabin. Quiet and peaceful location. Highly recommend. Be aware that county road leading to cabin is a bit dicey.

Hidden Gem

The A-frame was cozy and felt like home. Directly on the water, so the view was amazing. Bring your fishing gear!! Also, not having WiFi was a well needed break from our phones that we didn’t know we needed. Loved this place and hope to come back!

Our Favorite Spot on Smith Lake

This was my 4th stay at this property for our annual Girl's Trip because we LOVE the A-Frame. The beds were comfortable & kitchen had everything we needed. The walk down to the water was super easy & accessible, so we spent all our time on the water. We made friends with the across the way neighbors which made us feel super safe & comfortable. A family of geese even came through every morning. Highly recommend this property!

Get away

Cozy little cottage, not close to much so it’s perfect if you want to Get away! Very rustic and woodsy! Like camping off the beaten path, but with all of the comforts! Beautiful lake! It feels like living in a tree house.

Upon arrival my wife and I both looked at each other and said "yep" meaning we knew immediately we were going to enjoy our weekend. This home was located on the lake with the most beautiful view. The inside was very clean and inviting. It felt more like staying at a family members lake house v/s a rental. I really enjoyed the book that showed the progression of the property from 2017. It really showed the hard work that was put into making this place feel this way. The best part was the lack of internet and the day to day distractions that comes with the attachment to our devices. This place is located in an area that is semi secluded but has neighbors that were very nice as they passed by on their boats they waved everytime. It is also not a long drive to eat or shop for the essentials. The 1500 character limit on the review is nowhere enough to explain and/or describe how AMAZING this place is or how it made my wife and I feel during our stay. If you are out there trying to decide on a place to stay you need to look no further THIS IS IT!!!!. It has everything you need and more. -David & Krystal Morehead

Quaint and quiet!

We loved this cabin! So relaxing. We definitely want to return. Limited cell service… a little bumpy county road, and a steep drive way but all made for a great relaxing getaway! Beautiful, calm mornings in a quiet cove. Perfect for kids to swim and chill. Only a few minutes to Chef Troy’s or lakeshore!

Beautiful and peaceful

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. We enjoyed the deck and the view of the beautiful clear lake! The cabin is not fancy but it was cozy and comfortable. The worst part is the road to the cabin. Something really needs to be done with it.
