"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. "This is a great choice for Cite. It’s crazy cheap new building. Cheap furniture but pretty clean spacious. Breakfast is 3 euro it is same as 11 Euro breakfast. Coffee machine. Great valley. Next to la Cite. A bit harder to go into town "

"Amazing chalet. Very clean and in a beautiful location. Hot tub, sauna and swimming pool very clean. Hosts were friendly and the bottle of wine and free ticket to the castle were very nice welcoming gifts. Highly recommended."

The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. "Really well situated - just on the edge of the Bastide and about 15 minutes walk from the walled town. Lovely home with a small pool and excellent outdoor kitchen. It had all the facilities we needed. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Todo genial! Los anfitriones super amables, muy buena ubicación, piso muy bien decorado y con todo lo necesario, incluido secador, cafetera + capsulas. "Lovelly, old house in a large estate, with the owners property next door. About 10m from the local village. Superb 15m pool and surrounding area, great host, superb for wildlife, super relaxing."

"Smelly property that did not feel clean, didn’t feel like a particularly safe neighbourhood - and the double door and strong locking mechanisms only made us more worried. Old towels, bedding didn’t smell clean, untidy bathroom. We stayed the night as a last resort and got out of there early in the morning. Went to Carcassonne a castle that was unexpectedly large and beautiful. "

"Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good...
