We had such a nice time staying here. It was directly across the street from hot water beach and great restaurant with beach view. Host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for everything!

Great Location

Really enjoyed this property. A beautiful view along the beach, easy access and although simple the bach was perfect for a beach holiday.

Perfect location

Located right across from hot water beach, this is a super cute, cozy and well maintained cottage. The location is ideal for walking across the street to the beach.

An Enjoyable Stay

The cute wee batch was clean and tidy on arrival, has everything you need. A great spot looking out to the beach, we highly recommend.

Beautiful beach house in a superb location

It was fantastic to stay so close to Hot Water Beach. The bach was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The host was a great communicator and helped out immediately when we needed it. Thanks for having us!

Amazing spot

Great little bach in the most amazing location imaginable. Simple, very clean, and perfectly located for the beach. The cafe/restaurants across the road and down the road were both good, and Moko art gallery 2 doors down is awesome. Will be recommending this place to family and friends

Great beach scene

The house is simple but comfortable for a couple. The location is perfection if you want to walk across a local road for a morning swim/body surf, if you want to watch people gather with their shovels and start digging at low tide for hot water, if you want an exquisite 45 min walk along a nearly deserted cove. Great fun watching the day come and go.

Location! Location!

Perfect Bach for 2 people. Bed comfortable & house super clean. Good shower pressure. Lovely deck and table out front. Despite being across the road from public parking, very quiet. Appreciated the shovel to use on the beach!Only wish there was a dryer or a couple of extra towels to use.

The host cancelled our stay a few days before the trip, ruining our Christmas holiday plans. She was adamant that she had messaged me to try to retrieve payment. However, payment should have been taken from the card provided at the time of booking. Instead, she waited 2 months later, probably lost the details, and then cancelled my booking even though I told her I would call her with my details. Poor host and service. Definitely would not recommend.

Loved this place - sad to leave lovely views, walk across the road and onto the beach! Comfy. Nice sized kitchen and fridge. Good to have a washing machine and a clothesline too.

Loved it

Loved the property and the stay. Views are great easy access to the beach. Would like it if it was more clean. The jug had moldy water in it. Is needing a deep clean. But overall will defs come back.

Great location for the beach

The location is the only thing we found great about this property. Unfortunately the house is not maintained well, only half the lights worked, shower and toilet are small for an average person. The manager was approachable via messaging and responded quickly which was good. The neighbours made it an unpleasant stay for us, as every time we wanted to sit and relax on the deck, the dogs would start barking and not stop.

Beach front

Its a Beautiful position on the beach front, with a view from the bedroom and deck out front. Its old school. The place is comfortable, suited what we wanted for a few night's away. With a well equipped Kitchen if you like to cook. The owner's communicated effectively. I'd welcome another opportunity to stay again. It's a popular location due to the geo thermal. The owner's provided good information about experiencing this. The Beach has wonderful sunrises.

Holiday spoi;t by weather

Property great, manager (Tony) good to deal with and obliging BUT we got there just as Cyclone Hale hit the Coromandel and had 3 days when we couldn't go outside. Great views of the beach and the surf and swells rolling in but sadly not much swimming. We'll be back!

Positives: The location was perfect and the owner was kind and did respond promptly on arrival when we had an issue with the lockbox (our user error). The beach house however was run down, ants everywhere in kitchen and up walls, old furnishings, bed uncomfortable, and futon couch in living room You sit on it and it’s like sitting on springs. Lack of amenities such as dishwashing soap etc. again, location is amazing but would not choose to stay here again.
