Overall the cabin is quaint little cabin that was pretty clean except there was pet hair in the couch and under the bed. However, it is FAR from everything...i didnt mind that so much, but just to get to a dollar general takes almost 30 min (hot springs). The closest store that has any type of grocery items is called trust general store, but as to be expected it is nice but expensive for everyday items! I recommend stocking upon anything you might need before getting there unless you plan to go into town. The cabin had all the basics except matches or a lighter...the lights were off for hours and we wouldnt have been able to cook anything if we didnt have a lighter. The shower was clean and the pressure was pretty good, but they had shampoo, conditioner n body wash which was good because i forgot my soap. The stove and microwave worked good and had plenty of pans n dishes...bring foil or parchment paper for easier clean up as everything sticks to the pans! There is no phone here as stated in the ad. The wifi is NOT good...we were only getting 1 to 3 mbps so it constantly buffered to watch anything. I have att on my phone and it wouldnt even load any apps on my phone via wifi. Last the washer n dryer worked fine except the dryer takes at least an 1 n half to dry a small load. The bed is FIRM! We didnt get much sleep here due to that, but its quiet back there a little piece of heaven with how beautiful the land is, but i feel they could have been more transparent w/ the ad

My husband and I traveled with our two small dogs to this cabin in the mountains. We had such a wonderful time being unplugged and close to nature. We gazed at the stars from the hot tub and enjoyed hikinng around the property. Highly recommend this comfortable well built cabin.

Secluded, quiet, unique. Mountainous property too georgeous the last week of Oct not to be shared. So glad we found it. Hike over the mountains and you've found yourself in Tennessee. Property is exactly as advertised. A gem in the mountains.

Getaway from everything!

We really loved the place! The location, environment, scenery, and away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. The cabin provided everything we needed and wanted. It might not be for everyone because of the winding roads and distance from things or questionable cell service, but it was just what we wanted! Our stay here was fantastic!

Quiet Getaway with Beautiful Scenery

We arrived on our first day and enjoyed some time in the hot tub and looking over a very detailed binder prepared by the host. Showing us all the cool and fun things we could do on our stay. In the following days we hiked some trails around the cabin like the waterfall trail and the labyrinth trail, both were very gorgeous. We went to max’s patch and enjoyed the view there. We took a trip into Tennessee for a day which led us through the national forest. Each night we relaxed in the hot tub and talked about our favorite parts of the day. Overall a great experience that I would do again in a heartbeat. Very thankful for such great hosts.

Hikers paradise

The cabin was clean and the location was close to several hiking trails! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the relaxing hot tub. The waterfall on the property was beautiful!! We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful time. We did do some walking at Max Patch and had an opportunity to walk the trails on the property which was beautiful. Wish we took some time to go to the water falls. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Time away

What a beautiful and peaceful place to get away from it all. The location was perfect, full of green trees and birdsong, music of the nearby water and star filled night skies. The hot tub was a bonus after hiking during the day, our dog laid on the porch while we soaked and we definitely all slept soundly! The brewery, Big Pillow, was great! The town delightful and everyone we met was so friendly. Truly a great place to visit.

Relax, Reset, Renew

We chose the Sundance as a respite stop along the way to Tennessee to pick up our son and enjoyed every minute of our stay! Tom and Rebecca were absolutely accommodating. We had a small problem with the hot tub and Tom was there right away to fix it for us! The cabin was perfect, although we spent most of our time hiking on the property and other hikes in the area. The hot tub was the perfect end to our long days and start to the mornings. We crossed Max Patch off the bucket list, and it was more than what we had hoped for! The only sounds around the property are birds and running water. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life! Absolutely recommend a visit and we fully intend on going back!

Little slice of heaven in the mountains

Visited the area a few years ago for our honeymoon and loved so we planned our return trip here. Not only was the price more reasonable but the land and on site/local activities were much better. We fell in love with the area so much this time we hope to call ya’ll neighbors soon! ~T&A

Wonderful Spot

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sundance Cabin. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was in a private spot with lots to do on the property. Tom and Rebecca were available immediately when we had trouble with our water. They were wonderful hosts!
