Peaceful and rejuvenating

Lots of little extras by the host made our stay extra relaxing. Quiet, well-stocked, comfortable place. Watch out for chiggars.Highly recommend!!

This is definitely a five-star property! We enjoyed the quiet natural setting close to town. The bed was very comfortable and nice touches like coffee, water and breakfast the first day made it extra special. We hope to return!

Lakefront Serenity

This private cottage was a little slice of heaven for our weekend stay. Quiet and relaxing and just 15 minutes away from downtown Hot Springs. Every day after exploring, we were excited to come back to this home away from home. Janet and Bob have created such an amazing place-we can’t wait to return!

Jan and Bob were amazing host. The house and property were well kept and very beautiful. We had the best time celebrating our engagement. It was very peaceful and enjoyed fishing off the dock. It was just what we were looking for quality time together.

Beautiful even in the Rain!!

We enjoyed the property it was a beautiful location with amazing windows! The property owners were so nice as well. We stayed during the Floods and crazy storms but had the best time. We will visit again

Exquisite cottage in a secluded waterfront setting

Everything about my stay was delightful. The cottage was wonderfully decorated, immaculately clean, and well provisioned with bathroom and kitchen supplies - even food for my first breakfast! I think my favorite feature was the porch swing in front of the firepit, which overlooked the calm beauty of the lake. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough!

Amazing!

We can't say enough about this place. Janet and Bob were incredibly friendly and the cabin was by far the cleanest we've ever stayed in. We had everything we needed, and they also left us enough food for breakfast. The private dock was relaxing, the sunsets on the water are beautiful, and the views out of the top floor were amazing. We would definitely recommend this cabinto anyone staying in Hot Springs! Thanks for making our trip even better!

This Vrbo property was an absolute gem. Jan and Bob's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the hand-written notes and well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. The view of the lake made for pleasant mornings and peaceful evenings. The solitude of the house provided a serene and relaxing escape for a weekend getaway.

Excellent Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary with a get away to Jan and Bob's cottage on the lake. It was just as pictured with a beautiful view of Lake Catherine. The Lake had been drained for the winter but it was still enough to have a beautiful view and we were able to enjoy the ducks and other animals out on the lake. When I had any questions, Jan immediately responded. We had everything we needed at the cottage and it like a home away from home.

Beautiful Views, quiet home, very nice and communicative owners.

This house is beautiful. Its my second year staying here and I hope to keep going every year I can! The views of the lake and wildlife almost make you want to just stay at home the whole time! Its very close to all the activities you would want to do in hot springs as well. The owners are very quick to respond of you have any qieations. Would recommend this place to anyone!
