Very cozy home and amazing view of the mountains! Even with rainy weather we fully appreciated the scenery and air with our 4-person 3-night stay.
The house provided comfortable shelter: great AC with functioning ceiling fans to keep air moving. All sorts of dishes and cooking tools included, and the freezer and cupboard were surprisingly stocked with seasonings, cans, and actual foods. Plenty of cleaning supplies and lots of bath salts and towels for potential relaxing. Two full size comfortable beds with plenty of blankets. Books and board games were present, with lots of little tables and seats inside and outside on the patio (including foldout lounge chairs).
Caution: the road leading up to the home is not paved, but narrow and gravely with deep ridges that may be challenging for a low vehicle without 4-wheel drive, especially during dark or rainy conditions.
Cellular internet reception is bad for Verizon as expected in the mountain- but the house wifi is very good!
One small TV is mounted very high to the side of the lower bedroom; we didn’t find it comfortable to use but it does promise included hulu and netflix + dvd player.
The fire pit was sadly not available, but a small propane grill was on the patio.
Because of the location, everything is a good drive away, including hiking trails; but after visiting the Max patch and Trust Store, we were content to stay in and spend time together in such a lovely place!
