Beautiful views

Entering with the codes was easy. The island condo has beautiful views. It was spacious with many thoughtful details and anything a person might need. Tim was helpful and kind. The jets in the bathtub needed to be cleaned, and the bathroom receptacle had to be reset for the guest bedroom receptacles to work. But, Tim walked us through it. There are many beautiful trails at Lake Catherine and lots of delicious restaurants and fun shops in Hot Springs. We had a lovely visit.

Beautiful place

Great location near hot springs where you can go and do stuff. The condo itself was spacious and clean - the hot tub was wonderful in the cold evenings. Owner was very friendly and quick to respond to inquiries

So-so property

My 3 friends and I felt the property was clean. We were familiar with condos in this neighborhood as we had stayed in one before. The condo was not cool when we arrived about 4:30 pm. The master bedroom was very warm and took all night to cool down. We bought an additional fan for bedroom. The condo was not cool at any time during our stay. Also it is not the red couch that is noted in the picture. As for amenities there was a VERY small coffee pot with only 2 coffee mugs in condo. We bought styrofoam cups and a Keurig coffeemaker so that we could have coffee!! I would suggest that the Host make a folder with necessary instructions and/or information about emergency numbers, good restaurants , even menus and any other helpful information.

Condo was nice. Accurately described. Did have a few minor issues. One patio sliding door off the kitchen did not lock. Some construction was happening during our stay and the noise was not pleasant. Also the hot tub by the pool would not heat. Would stay again if these issues were fixed.

This is a 2nd floor unit of a 3 floor condominium. Stair and elevator access to the unit. 2nd row unit to water bank. Expectations were much higher for price paid. Unit decor suggests it was built in the 80s. Furnishings were tired and well worn. Shower in master has a jetted tub for 1 and small shower. Shower head is not meant for anyone over 5’3. Single jetted tub was not used. The finish was scrubbed off in places and was probably the original tub. Towels were frayed and stunk like mildew, random sets. Can’t wash that out- I tried. All towels and cloths should be tossed. In the guest bathroom, there wasn’t even a rod for the toilet paper holder. The roll was just haphazardly stuck on the wall holder. Shower door in master doesn’t close all the way, water on the floor. Bed linens were old and stained. Brown stains on mattress protector in guest room and master had a pillow with brown strains. Pillows were super old and FLAT. Had to fold in half just to use. Master bed was ok. Guest bed is on risers. Fitted sheet didn’t fit the mattress and kept coming off. Linens in guest bedroom seemed to have oil stains from prior guest. Kitchen was decently stocked. However, much of the glassware was chipped or broken. Stacked 5 glasses in the back of the cupboard so no one in our party got cut. Living room actually has a couch and loveseat. Unit was quiet and is in a small gated community of condos. Only noise was from the highway right next to the unit.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed this condo. Great location on the water. Convenient access to downtown shopping and various outdoor activities. Very comfortable lodging - great beds, TV’s in each room, full kitchen, etc. We particularly appreciated the comprehensive communication leading up to our arrival. Overall, a great experience.

Lake weekend

The condo was very nice and clean. It had all the supplies needed for a long weekend. The location is really great and we were given lots of information about local spots. It was so fun to watch the boats fly by and see the beautiful sunsets. We can't wait to come back!

Girls Trip Getaway

We used this for a 3 day girls trip with my daughter, sister and niece. It was the perfect size and a good location for Hot Springs activities. The girls had fun in the pool and the condo was very comfortable.

MB needs updating especially the shower and shower head. Living room furniture could be more comfortable. Kitchen and dining were nice. Gated access felt safe. Quiet.

Perfect location with Lake views from the dining room and Living room. Will stay here again.

Communication was all done electronically and very easy. The property Manager left phone numbers to call if necessary but it was not necessary. Everything was perfect.

This property was not as clean as my preference. Front door Hallway entrance closet had splashes of red juice. The toilet paper holder was torn from The guest bathroom wall and not replaced, chunks of drywall showing. Stains on furniture and burns. My family and I enjoyed the weekend but I will not rent this property again. Fire the housekeeper and put some updated lighting and fixtures and another shower for master bedroom. That shower was so tiny my 7year old liked it as it was his height.

Wonderful spot, fully met our expectations.

Helpful and friendly owners, great grounds, and amenities, and beautiful views. The only problem we had was a planned power outage caused us to be delayed, leaving the property, but we were very happy with the response of the property owner, as well as the groundskeeper to get the gate opened manually.

New Years Weekend

We celebrated the holiday with another couple. The condo was as pictured. It was a very nice neighborhood. The condo had all the necessities. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Overall a clean place….

Overall it was a nice place. Location was closer to the highway than I expected. Balcony view was of the dog poop yard. The bed was firm and the pillows were extremely thin and not supportive. The red couch smelled like dog. The people staying below us in unit 902 smoked weed every night and had the windows open so the smell poured in our unit. This new weed has the worst smell! We are experienced visitors to Lake Hamilton. We have stayed at several places. The boat slip was not applicable this trip. I chose the spot for the fireplace given the time of year and weather, only to discover it was not usable. Wish VRBO could be more specific with the amenities filter. Again, overall it was clean. The units are older and need some updating, but it is clean and if it was boat season, it would be a big benefit to have a slip, so perhaps a summer rental is prime for this place. Cheers!
