"Staff, service and food were excellent. Exactly when you'd come to expect from a Holiday Inn. Sadly however the room looked tired and in need of some much needed TLC with a distinct lack of beside plugs and although the room was at far end of the building and away from general foot traffic it was right above the air handling units and plant so was noisey at night. "No shower gel or soap in the bathroom. House keeping should check on the bottles of gel everyday. Room service was ok, but I won’t come back. I phoned front desk and house keeping numbers for several minutes and no one ever answer. Poor service ! "

"The room was clean and tidy with nice bedding. There was a private courtyard which was nice although hadn't been tidied prior to our arrival, the umbrella and fairy lights were broken and it wasn't well maintained, but nice to have. The pendant lights in the room were too low and I banged my head on them several times. "Fantastic hotel!"

"When we arrived, the lady at the reception was very polite and pleasant. However, in the morning when we were leaving, the staff were quite unfriendly and rude. Later, when we contacted the hotel to explain what had happened, they tried to accuse us of having three people stay in a double room. We were honestly surprised, because it was the hotel that checked the three of us into a room with two beds in the first place, but we chose not to raise this issue at the time."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed linen in particular was immaculate Tea, instant coffee and UHT milk were provided. The staff were courteous and very helpful."

"Very nice location. Lovely room and plenty of breakfast options. Comfortable and quiet despite being in city centre. Nice smelling handwash and lotion. Housekeeping sorted out and divided beds as soon as we asked. "
