"Rented the house with a three-generation family group for a long weekend to attend a wedding in a nearby town. We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. "I had family in from out of town, I set up the rental for them, the house was clean, comfortable bed per my family, pots/pans basic kitchen needs available, dishwasher, coffee maker, second TV in the bedroom (I’ve found places that don’t have one and it wasn’t listed as such, and that is a big negative for me) I would recommend this place to others and I will utilize again when the need arises. "

" The house and setting was so serene and relaxing. We enjoyed the outdoor area and the warm cabin like wooded welcoming and comfortable interior. So grateful for the appropriate amount of heat set, knowing that it was a bit cold at night, and extra blankets set aside for us.We had a wonderful time and a chance to reset from the city life. "

"The home was very comfortable, the hosts were always quick to respond to my questions. Our view was beautiful. We came to spread my brother’s ashes, and the house was right around the corner from where his shop used to be. It was like it was meant to be. This was the perfect place for us to stay. "The home was very clean and inviting. The only trouble we had was the difficulty in parking along the house to unload groceries and luggage at the kitchen door and exiting our truck was very tight. Would suggest removing bushes that line the driveway. "
