  • Completely surrounded by woods, this little cabin has a peaceful, secluded setting, but the convenience of a town close by. It sits on 5 acres of land with a 1/2 acre pond. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit or take a walk around the grounds and see deer, turkey, songbirds, fish, and other wildlife. Check out the natural spring!
    Minutes away from 2 golf courses. Check out the town and local life or stay in and enjoy the quiet of nature.

It was quiet, the beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels. Good kitchen set up with plate ware and cookware. Clean and very spacious fridge and a great front area to sit and have a fire. Huge screen TV and good heating. Owners were super responsive and helpful.

Wonderful peaceful property just a few miles from Hornell. We were visiting for a family wedding and the cabin was just a few miles from the venue.

What a great place to stay! Very clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were great communicators and provided a great environment for my visit! l loved walking around the pond, drinking from the working pump and relaxing around the fire.

Everything thing you need.

It was easy to find, Its private but not as secluded as i was expecting but it was still perfect, The set up is convenient and the bed was really cozy, I just sat at the fire pit til late so i didn't use the TV, The frogs are crazy loud in the pond and the stars at night are Beautiful, Me and my Dog would definitely stay again.

Very quiet and peaceful. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We had trouble with our vehicle just as we were leaving and he came right out to help us out. Saw deer almost everyday. Thank you again for your help. Would def. stay again

Peaceful getaway

We had a great overnight at this cozy cabin. Deer walked right past the window... it was awesome. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Pondside Hideaway! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful setting, surrounded by woods and overlooking the pond, was exactly what we were looking for. We are birders and there were so many to see and hear. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire, watching the wildlife, listening to the peepers and bullfrog, and soaking in the quiet beauty of nature. Our dog loved it too! He was so relaxed. The hosts were welcoming, communicative, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. It was the perfect balance of privacy and comfort, while still being conveniently close to town. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly stay here again.

Cozy and quiet. Tucked into the woods with a pond full of singing frogs. Cabin was clean and well equipped with all we needed for a long weekend. Bed was comfortable.We enjoyed nearby Corning Glass Museum and Letchworth State Park.wish the windows had screens so we could have had them open since the weather was cool enough.

Great area close to nearby essential if needed.Peaceful,good view of stars at night.Plenty of wood was cut and dry under some trees next to cabin to keep fire going.Pond has alot of frogs, kept daughter busy.Inside was clean and had fresh linens pillows and towels.Easy nights rest ! Would recommended! Great hosts.Nobody bothered us!!

Lovely

This is a beautiful peaceful cabin in the woods. My husband is from this area and we came up for his dear mom's funeral. We have a sweet dog so we needed somewhere that would allow for our fur-family. This was a comforting calming place to hang our hats and leash. Thank you to the owners.

Very peaceful, quiet, and private place to stay. The cabin was clean, stocked with towels, bedding, TP, and all kitchen utensils/pots and pans. Would love to stay here again, and added it to our favorite places. 2nd time staying with this host, (1st time was a different property) and would not hesitate to stay with them again. We had a hiccup or 2 with the TV/wifi (not the hosts fault, it was the provider) and the host was on top of it, doing their best to get it resolved for us right away. Loved the fire pit, the outdoor space, including very comfortable table and chairs. There were not a lot of bugs, so even when we were outside after dark, we did not get bit by mosquitos. The local residents were very friendly, waving if they passed us when walking in the morning (and almost NO traffic while doing so). Cannot wait to stay here again
