"We absolutely loved this property and will be renting it next year when we come back out on the same weekend. The property was clean, inviting and absolutely beautiful! It was seven minutes from our family celebration and it was just perfect for our family!"

"Perfection. Beautiful home in a beautiful area with everything you could imagine at your fingertips. Great host. Firepit outside. Fireplace inside. Clean. Organized. Heaven. Comfortable beds. We honestly did not want to leave it was so perfect. They even had games and puzzles if you wanted them. We had a wonderful time. "

"We had a great time at the cabin. The 3 bedrooms are good sized with comfortable beds. Kitchen and the rest of the house were very clean. We appreciated the towels for the hot tub and tvs in every bedroom. The hot tub was a great way to relax after biking. It’s near a semi busy road but set back so you don’t hear it. The stream is beautiful and yard big enough to throw a ball around. We enjoyed the fire pit and didn’t have a chance to use the newer looking wood/charcoal grill. All in all a great...

"Unique little place to stay. Went back in time the entire stay. Melanie has utilized every space with items that conjured up memories of junior and high school days.Comfortable and compact but very accessible to the places we wanted to visit."

"We loved our stay at Poplar Run Retreat. The cottage was cozy and welcoming. Alta, our host, was immediately accessible but not needed because everything we needed was already anticipated and provided. Expectations were clearly communicated with property explanations and check-out directions. We especially loved the creek side deck, listening to nature, the gentle gurgle of the creek, and watching dappled sunlight moving through the treetops in the morning while sipping coffee in the sunroom....

"If you are going to stay in this area, this cottage is a very good option. The spot was quiet, but had all the modern amenities needed to just relax with family. It was within very close driving distance to the youghiogheny river lake, Falling Water, and Ohiopyle. If you are going to stay in this area, you should know that many restaurant options are closed on early weekdays, close early at night, and/or may require about 20-30 minutes of driving."

"The cottage is wonderful, the hosts Meg and Ollie are great, our experience at Their home was unforgettable! We were a group of 7 people and our dogs, we all loved all the thoughtful details. From the mudroom with boot warmers, the s’mores welcome kit, the game loft with an 80’s arcade, the hot tub and outdoors fireplace…. I could go on and on… awesome!"
