"It was a lovely house that had everything one could need. The lake is feet away with a fenced in yard. The backyard was also a secluded spot with tons of birds. Bed was very comfy and everything was super clean. Previous renters left items to enjoy, so there were extras. Two items to know- 1. There is a home preschool next door. It wasn’t too noisy, but you will hear kids when they head outside.2. I’m 6’ and some of the furniture was lower to the ground than normal. It made getting up a bit...

"We had a great stay here. The host was very responsive, answered questions quickly, and was flexible with our plans, which made the whole experience smooth. Any concerns we had were addressed right away. The home was clean, had upgraded appliances, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the snacks, complimentary tea, and tea kettle. The number of rooms worked perfectly for our family.A few suggestions that could make future stays even better:Adding full‑length mirrors in the...

"A very quiet cul de sac and a babbling brook in the back yard which was absolutely soothing. Street parking was tight but there was a small parking lot available close by. Beds were comfortable (pillows need upgraded though). Kitchen could use a few more plates and bowls. I cooked for 7 people. Towels (rough). A few upgrades and this place would be a five."

"The place was great! It was exactly as described and was a great place to decompress and relax. Close enough to the city, yet far enough away that you don't know the city exists. I will definitely stay again when in the area. Five Stars!"

"Great location…we walked to the Saturday Farmers Market and to the little shops in Highland Falls. Definitely recommend Andy’s for breakfast and Westy’s for a great hangout place in the evenings. Don’t miss the history of West Point!"

"We screened properties for pet friendly and this listing came up every time, but we got a call from the owner the first morning telling us they were not pet friendly. The did refund us for one night of the 2 we planned to stay. The property is in a very nice part of Newburgh. When you pull up to the property there are 15cars parked around the yard that aren’t being used, 7 are covered and one is a delivery truck and a limo. There are lots of bicycles not in use and many charcoal grills. The...
