The house was perfect for 4 ladies to get away from work and home and just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and beauty of it all. We found an awesome bar and grill with great food in Chillicothe at Gilmore's Sports Bar. We had a great weekend and wished we had just another day or two to enjoy that view from the back deck."

"Wonderful property for a relaxing stay with family. Location seemed to be within 5-10 minutes of everything we planned on doing in Peoria. Riverfront, museums, grocery store, Bradley Park, dog trails - every time we googled directions, we were close to our destination. Lots of room to spread out in the house, beautiful grounds, nice beds, nice towels. We just had a great time staying at the Knoxville Retreat."

"We made this a meeting point for family from Kansas and Michigan. The house was very nice and worked perfectly for the five of us. The Peoria Heights area was very nice and quiet. We took morning walks along the parkway which had beautiful views of the river along the way. Dimitri was very responsive and helpful as the host. The only issues for us were that the hot tub water really needed to be changed and the leaves were knee-deep in the driveway when we arrived. A crew did come to clear the...

"We enjoyed our stay and are looking into planning another for next year to include all our kids. We were in town for a family wedding at Lake Wildwood. Jim's property and space is absolutely amazing, huge deck area by the pond with feeding the fish was awesome including ample space in the garage to play washers & games when it got too cold out. Check in/out were so easy, he replied quickly to texts, and overall great experience."

"This was the first year since mom moved out of the family home in Metamora to a retirement cottage. This meant the family needed a big house for the siblings to stay for our Christmas activities. The house was perfect! Lots of room for three families to eat sleep and share a wonderful four days. Highlights include the great room for gatherings and the downstairs for ping pong and foosball. Terrific kitchen and wonderful neighborhood. Right on the golf course! We will be back."

"We came in from three different states to have family time and to attend a wedding! Since we live in three states, it was awesome to have a quiet, home to stay in!! I wish the decks had been swept, but the home was beautiful!! For a family of 10 and a 8 month old, it was a perfect gathering spot!! Other family came for a brunch before the wedding and we hosted 18 people easily!!! The hosts were so easy to work with and communicate with!!! We would stay here again!!!"
