"The location is wonderful and it was very quiet at night. However, there was a bright light close to the window and no black-out curtains, so too light in the room for my liking. The breakfast was nice, but the poached egg was overcooked. The scrambled eggs looked nice though. Staff were very friendly."

"Peak Hotel was the most charming stay! It was my six year old daughter and I and everyone was so generous and welcoming. She loved staying “in a restaurant.” The rooms were clean and beautiful. Castleton was storybook magical. We are so thankful."

"Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat."

"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"The pub was busy and bustling, yet welcoming. Olivia greeted us, smiling and friendly. She was informative and nothing was too much trouble. She gave a really good first impression of the place Breakfast was excellent (Full English and Eggs Benedict). We were once again served by the lovely Olivia. Our room was small but the bathroom was spacious. Although the view was not one to write home about, the room itself (Room 5) served our needs for one night - very comfortable bed. "Room was cosy size but fine for one person. Weather was hot so I was glad of the fan provided. I had to close the window as unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the Tavern behind going on till 1am at least. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit. Beautifully cooked English breakfast. I specially liked having a pot of coffee to linger over."
