Amazing view

Wonderful Lake Views, great home

A beautifully comfortable, well decorated home situated right on a lovely small lake close to hiking and the shore. It also has amazing sunsets. All of what I love. The host was accessible and very helpful and generous. We will be back!

Serendipity camp

Cute camp in a beautiful location with pretty landscaping and a nice dock. The house could have been cleaner and less cluttered, but despite this, we had a wonderful time.

Beauty on Lermond Pond

The waterfront property was beautiful and well manicured. Sunsets on the pond were spectacular. The galley kitchen was tighter than anticipated but functional. Bring your own bar soap and shampoo for the bathrooms. Kim was very easy to work with!

Great Maine Hideaway!

Cozy house right on a beautiful pond, short easy drive to the ocean, and the hundreds of things to do up and down the coast. Our family had a wonderful week, managed to put on a few pounds with all the great food options, despite lots of hiking, lol. Owner Kim is a great host, you can't go wrong here.

Perfect lake getaway

Great house in a perfect location and well maintained. Not only was the house on a beautiful lake, it was in a great location to do more exploring of Maine. Kim was very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to Maine.

A Little Piece of Heaven

Our time at Serendipity was about as ideal as it gets. A lovely Cottage equipped with everything we needed, including comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets and a thoroughly well-equipped kitchen. Kim was readily available and friendly and the location felt like it was far away from everything there on the pond with its lovely sunsets and starlit sky but it was only a short ride to grocery stores and other things to do.

Hottest Couple Days of the Year So Far

House, landscaping and lake and dock beautiful! Lake perfect for cooling off. My golden retrievers couldn’t swim enough. Great location for exploring mid coast area and for just relaxing. I knew we would be relying on lake breeze to keep house cool since no ac ... but having temps in mid 90’s for a couple days was challenging; fans helped a bit. Once temps dropped, we were fine.

A wonderful getaway!

The house was quiet and peaceful, well-appointed, and decorated with taste and creativity by the owner, who welcomed us warmly and showed us around. The view over the pond was excellent, and we enjoyed watching the loons. We would definitely consider for a return visit!

Absolutely exquisite home and yard on a fabulous relaxing pond. Should be the location for a movie!

Our family had a wonderful vacation in this home. We all enjoyed the best relaxing and touring vacation possible. Immaculate home surrounded by a picture perfect yard. Great location near Camden. Peaceful and quite with constant treat of watching birds and sunsets. We hope to vacation in Serendipity Cottage again. We cannot thank Kim enough for enabling us to enjoy the cottage and her hospitality.

Enchanted lake house on Lermond Pond

This lake house is truly an enchanted place. Kim has paid meticulously close attention to all of the details from the garden and outdoor provisions, through the extremely clean and beautifully decorated interior, and right down to the drinking water filtration system. Her kitchen was so well stocked that we were able to whip up the most amazing Maine blueberry pie we have ever had. We look forward to visiting again. Thanks very much Kim!

What a perfect place to enjoy Maine.

Kim's house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and welcoming. She is such a pleasant and accommodating host. We had everything we needed and were able to enjoy the lake and surroundings to the fullest. We will remember this week for a long time: the swimming, kayaks, sunsets, loons, warm lake water, birds and beautiful flower gardens. Highly recommended vacation spot.
