"We got to the property, after it being described as a townhome. When we arrived, the property was an apartment in an apartment complex, on the second floor. The apartment smelled strongly of smoke (someone had very obviously smoked there), we have a hold with several allergies and we knew instantly we wouldn’t stay. Additionally, there was piles of trash outside the door, fruit flies in the kitchen and the fridge didn’t fully close. The smoke smell and that it wasn’t a townhome was why we left....

"We arrived at this rental expecting a clean, non-smoking property, but the house immediately reeked of cigarette smoke. The kitchen ceiling had a large water stain with peeling paint, and water was actively dripping onto the floor.
