Hawks Landing made a perfect home base for our son's wedding weekend. We were grateful for the well-stocked kitchen, excellent air conditioning and complimentary bottle of wine. James was a helpful and proactive host.

Beautiful townhome located close to downtown Hood River with gorgeous views of Mount Adams and the Columbia River. Check-in and out process is easy and we had no problems. 3 good sized bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths was great for 6 adults to share. Kitchen is stocked with just about any appliance/kitchen tool one would need. We used the smoker/grill one night to make delicious burgers and brats-we are from Wisconsin! James was easy to contact. He checked in to make sure we were doing well and was quick to respond to my texts. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

Had a great stay here. Super high level of communication from the hosts which made everything seamless and easy. The beds were very comfortable and a had a very well stocked kitchen. Would definitely rent this again!

Amazing place with great view!

So well appointed and comfortable. Could have stayed much longer. Easy walk to grocery and shops. Lots of great touches, kitchen and charging stations. Would highly recommend!

Great Experience

We had a wonderful vacation at Hawkes Landing! The home was lovely. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The home was stocked with alot of basic ammenities that definitely enhanced the stay. The kitchen was well appointed and very easy to cook and prepare meals in. The location was excellent. It is very central, with a market a stones throw away and an easy and pleasent walk into town through the pretty neighborhood streets. Our host James was very responsive, accomodating and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Hawk's Landing was the ideal place for this Eugene couple to meet friends from Seattle for hiking, pickleball, dining out and dining in. An abundance of clear communication with our host made our stay easy and comfortable.

Lovely View, Spacious Kitchen!

This unit has a wonderful view of the mountains and a partial view of the river. While the unit sits directly above a Safeway, the owners did a great job of hiding the rooftop so that you don't see it. It has a bright, new, spacious kitchen that had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen equipment felt clean and well maintained. It is centrally located in Hood River and easy to get to things. The carpets in the downstairs bedrooms are buckling and seem to be in need of attention. Kind of a tripping hazard. That is our only critique. As for the check-in procedure, our experience was a bit awkward in the when we clicked on the link for directions to the unit, it took us to the adjoining address. Needless to say, the resident was not expecting us. We figured out that it was the unit next door, but then realized we had no entry code. We called the host twice, aa requested and he helped us gain access. Not a major problem, but not smooth either. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this VRBO to others!

Hood River Heaven

This property was the perfect place for our family trip. Conveniently located, extremely clean and great living space to hang out & relax after a day outdoors! James was super communicative and made everything easy for check in / check out. Would absolutely recommend this place and hope to come and stay again.

Amazing stay!

This condo was absolutely perfect for a little family vacation in Hood River. Amazing view, lots of space to spread out and relax. Super clean, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, great location. The pool table was a treat, we enjoyed it very much! We made some great memories and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hood River. Thanks for a great stay James!

Hood River

This lovely house has all you need for a family or small group. The host is very responsive. It is conveniently located for driving to downtown Hood River and other Columbia Gorge locations. It has a good view of the gorge (you just have to look over the McDonald’s and strip mall roof in the foreground).

Great Weekend Getaway

Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. The only very minor negative was the Safeway delivery trucks arriving at 6am on weekday. But we are early risers so it didn't bother us. The positives definitely outweigh this minor inconvenience. The property manager was great.

We loved it!

Wonderful modern townhouse close to downtown. Fully equipped, nicely furnished and comfortable open floor plan on the main floor. Bedrooms on the floor below. Good view of Mt. Adam and river from main floor but a bit chilly to enjoy the balcony. Worked great for a girls' week - a large gathering space for dinners and hanging out. Excellent host, always a quick response to any inquiry. HIghly recommend.

Gorgeous area

We really enjoyed our Hood River getaway! The condo has a wonderful deck and view, and the living area is spacious. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the basic pantry items available to us. It’s close to stores and all the recreational things to do in Hood River. The owner was very personable and communicative from start to finish. Would definitely return!
