Great location. Close to everything! Can be noisy at night as the bar is downstairs. The king size bed is comfortable, but not the extra beds. The marina water is not clear.

The check-in and check-out processes were simple and easy. The home was as described and had everything my family of 5 needed. The location is prime for Waikiki and not having to be in the center and always stuck in traffic. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the amenities and common areas. mahalo, Reny and family!

We enjoyed the location and space was everything we needed. I will say that we were very disappointed that there is ongoing balcony construction that was planned since at least early this year. There were flyers posted around the building that “there will be loud noises & dust” as well as the balcony being closed/locked from the outside and the balcony furniture stored inside the closet in the hall. Luckily we were awake before they started work each day as we had things planned. I feel we should have been notified as part of the reason we booked was because of the now unusable balcony and the listing is currently still showing the balcony. I messaged the Host through VRBO to give them a chance to address my concerns, but still a week and a half later have not received a response.

Unit was not very clean when we arrived. Specifically the bathroom and used sheets still on the pull out sofa. Owner was responsive and sent the cleaner out with fresh sheets. Photos on the listing do not depict the units current condition. Unit appears to have been staged for the photos as most of the decor is not in the unit any longer. Thankfully we were only in Oahu for one night.

First Time in Hawaii

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The view from our condo was breathtaking. The place was easy to find, checkin and settle in. It was very clean. The parking was provided at a cost but was reasonable. All in all we had a great stay.

the stay at Waikiki Harbor-front property

The hosts were gracious, low-key, and were strong communicators. The location was lovely: lots of great stuff just a short walk away. The strengths included use of body-boards and great beach chairs, a very useful kitchen, a fantastic location, and a comfy bed. Weaknesses included some minor dirty-ness (some yucky hair in the bathtub, a dirty kitchen floor, dust, and a sliding glass door that was hard to see out of), some fake houseplants (I suggest throwing out all the fake plastic plants), an iron with no ironing board, and a hair dryer that did not work. Ultimately, everything turned out just fine and we had a good time, but it wasn't a full 5-star experience. I loved the karaoke playing from the bar below us, but guests should probably know about that ahead of time, in case that's a problem. Also, the laundry room was great, but it is not included (it's on a different floor and costs a little bit). We did enjoy many comforts, but with a few minor bumps on the proverbial road.

Ilikai Marina 7 day stay

Location very good apartment itself was about 600 ft.²Kitchen:Never cooked in unit but was clean Fridge fine: Bedroom and bed very comfortable, main living area good Sofa too soft could use upgrade . Bathroom nothing fancy but clean and adequate. Reny our host was very attentive. Chart house restaurant was excellent. The bar and breakfast place below was also very good.

Nice view of the marina, close to the beach but a little away from the crowds, which was nice. Quick walk to many restaurants and ABC stores. Clean, and well-equipped kitchen.

Check in and contact with owners was smooth. Unit is in a great location with stunning views of sunset over the marina. Lots of places to walk to from this unit. Would recommend this unit for a stay in Honolulu!

Ok not great

The apartment is as advertised. We had an enjoyable trip. Location of the condo is the main issue - it’s ok but further away from the main area than it looks on the map so get used to walking back and forth (20mins each way, a few times a day). The sofa beds could do with a refresh - they were fine for 1 or 2 nights but we had 5 nights and so got uncomfortable for our teenage kids. We did have a great stay and don’t want to be negative but these are the issues that don’t come through in the online description.

Short stay

I wish there was a dresser to put clothes in. There was only 1 hand towel for the kitchen as well as only 1 glass for drinks, other than coffees mugs. There was not enough pillows to accommodate all five of us comfortably. Also, the kitchen has a cabinet handle that is not fully attached. Lastly, the lanai was a bit deceiving in the pictures posted. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Waikiki Apartment

We loved our vacation in Oahu and this apartment was more then expected, the location as amazing easy walk to Waikiki beach and many restaurants and bars. Parking is in the same building and affordable compared to some other parking garage's. The host was fantastic and replied to my messages ASAP. I would definitely book again.

Relax! It’s all here!

Location: I love the location! It looks over the Marina and the Ocean. It’s right at the beginning of Waikiki Beach yet walking distance to all your shopping needs. Next door is a Red Lobster and Below is the Chart House and the Harbor Pub. (great Pizza btw.) There’s also a car rental just around the bend. The Condo: What I love about this place is that you can relax and enjoy your stay. Especially if you are traveling with kids. You’re not all worried that “the kids can’t move or they might break something or dirty that white carpet!” It’s nicely decorated with accents of a calming blue so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The only set back I had was that I gave the bedroom to my daughter and her husband. My grandson slept great on the single fold out bed and I took the pull out couch. Being that I’m older I found it a bit uncomfortable but the Hosts were so kind and attentive to my needs. They brought me 2 thick comforters which really helped. When they found out that at the last minute my 2 grandkids were coming , they bought 2 new boogie boards and sand toys. You definitely will find the “Spirit of Aloha” if you stay at this Condo.
