    Perched high on the 22nd floor of the Pacific Monarch building—just one block from the beach—this cozy 1-bedroom ocean-view apartment is perfect for small groups and families. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare a meal, while the bedroom features a comfortable queen-bed, the living room as an additional queen size sofa sleeper for additional guests. Both the bedroom and bathroom are clean and stocked with essentials for your stay. Step out onto the private balcony and take in the breathtaking ocean views—an unforgettable sight that will make your Waikiki getaway truly special.

    The Pacific Monarch apartment building is iconic to many visitors around the world. Just a short 3 min walk to Waikiki beach and within the building, you’ll find a rooftop swimming pool, hot tub and sauna along with a gorgeous view overlooking the Waikiki skyline.

    Check-in is a breeze with 24/7 front desk check-in services. The entrance door is equipped smartlock pin. The parking structure is attached to the building with direct access to guest rooms. Parking fee is paid on the 2nd level of the parking structure. Current parking rate is $35/day subject to change.

    Rooftop Pool Closure Notice:

    Our rooftop pool will be closed from December 16, 2024, to the end of March 2025 with the possibility of extension into mid-April 2025. During this time, we’ve arranged for our guests to enjoy pool access at our neighboring hotel, the Bamboo Waikiki Resort.

    Please note the following schedule for our rooftop amenities:

    OPEN until February 10th, 2025: The jacuzzi, barbecue grill, recreational games, and outdoor dining areas.

    CLOSED February 10th, 2025 – end of March with the possibility to Mid-April 2025 (tentative) : The entire recreational deck will be closed. Guests may continue to use the recreational deck at the Bamboo Waikiki Resort during this period.

    Please understand that these dates are subject to change with weather delays and there may be construction noise if the spalling work is near your unit.

    Thank you for your understanding as we work to enhance our rooftop experience!
    We require all guests to follow the building's rules and regulations. These include no smoking inside the unit and no parties or events. Additionally, we ask that guests respect the quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am as a courtesy to the building's residents.

    We also ask that guests cooperate with the building's policies regarding emergency situations, repairs, maintenance, fire alarm testing, emergency evacuations, and water shut-offs as needed.

    If any building amenities such as the pool, gym, or hot tub will be closed, we will provide advance notice in the listing description and our first welcome message. It is our policy for guests to read the entire listing description to avoid confusion during their stay.

    All emergency closures and amenity disruptions including emergency water shut-offs are out of the host's control and are ineligible for refunds or compensation.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful. Just a couple blocks from the beach. The condo was clean. It also had beach supplies which were very convenient as they are costly to rent on the beach. The host was very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.The condo is very small. And is also very dated. Room for two adults and one or two small children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this 22nd floor, corner unit lodging. The view of the ocean was amazing, especially on two mornings when we had rainbows! It was a treat to have coffee & a light breakfast on the lanai every morning. The Pacific Monarch is within easy walking distance of so many things--three short blocks to the beach & just a bit further to a multitude of restaurants & even a Target store with groceries. An additional plus is the ample beach gear we found on the lanai. Andrew was extremely responsive, both prior to & during our stay.

We had an amazing vacation, this was a good central location. Our condo was clean and had most of the necessities.
