The Space:
Step out onto your private lanai on the 41st floor and take in a sweeping panorama that stretches from the sparkling Pacific to the commanding silhouette of Diamond Head - with the glittering Waikiki skyline filling the space between. This east-facing studio at Island Colony puts one of the world's most iconic coastal views right outside your window, from the moment you wake up to the last light of the evening.
The studio
- The open-plan layout keeps everything within easy reach.
- A queen-size bed sits at the heart of the space, dressed in fresh cotton linens with extra pillows and blankets in the closet.
- Room-darkening shades let you sleep in if the mood strikes.
- An adjustable-height table with two chairs doubles as a dining spot or a place to work, and a flat-screen TV rounds out the living area.
- A window AC unit and a split AC keep the space cool and comfortable throughout your stay.
Kitchenette
- The kitchenette is well set up for in-unit meals.
- You'll find a 2-burner stovetop, microwave, full-size refrigerator with freezer, and a range of small appliances including a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and hot water kettle.
- Cookware, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and utensils are all provided, along with a baking sheet and cooking basics.
- A starter supply kit is included on arrival - stocked with coffee, coffee filters, salt and pepper, dish soap, laundry detergent, and personal care essentials to get you settled in.
Bathroom
- The bathroom includes a tub and shower, vanity with cabinet, and a hair dryer.
- Essentiel Elements shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel are provided, along with a full set of towels - bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, and beach towel - per guest.
Lanai
- Step outside to your private balcony, furnished with a table and two chairs - a natural spot for morning coffee with that Diamond Head view stretched out in front of you.
Beach essentials
- Head to the beach with everything you need already packed: two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a beach cooler, and a beach mat are all provided for your use.
Connectivity & practicalities
- Fast Wi-Fi is included (244 Mbps, verified by speed test - strong enough for 4K streaming and video calls).
- An ethernet connection is also available. Self check-in is via keypad.
- Paid parking is available in the on-premises garage at $45 per day (subject to change).
- The building also has an elevator, trash chutes on every floor, a ground-floor coffee shop, round-the-clock security, and an ATM in the lobby.
Getting around
Car, scooter, and bicycle rentals are available right in the building and across the street. The Honolulu Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car.
The neighborhood
Island Colony sits in the heart of Waikiki - the beach is just a short walk away. International restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, shopping centers, luaus, and dinner cruises are all within easy walking distance.

Our guests have full exclusive access to the studio and all the amenities of the building.
The Neighborhood:
The Island Colony is located in the heart of Waikiki, just a few walking minutes away from the warm sands and blue water of our world most famous beaches.
Also within walking distance you can enjoy a wide selection of international restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, world-famous shopping centers, luaus, dinner cruises, etc.
Getting Around:
There is a very good bus system on the island, all buses are stopping in Waikiki. This building has a public parking garage ($35 per 24 hours), payable directly at the parking garage. Rates are subject to change.
Please note: current daily rate of $35 is valid for 24 hours. If the vehicle stays longer than 24 hours without paying for additional time, $50 fine will apply.
