Our stay was fantastic! It was easy to book, our host was great to communicate with and very accommodating. The condo was clean, well maintained, and quite comfortable. It was conveniently located for many local activities and just steps away from the beach!

There was a miscommunication with the check-in; the owners immediately took steps to make sure this wouldn’t happen to future guests. I found that very impressive! This is a WONDERFUL property. Very well equipped kitchen, great central location to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Beautiful hotel and property with a coffee shop, ice cream shop, and convenience store on the main level. Pros: location near lots of shops, restaurants, beach, conference center, etc. Having an AC was wonderful, nice complex. Graciously allowed us to check in a little early. Suggestion: Provide shampoo, conditioner, and more than 1 towel per person for a 4-night stay:)

The place was very clean and had all the amenities you might need (right down to the beach chairs and accessoires). The refurbished kitchen was excellently done and we found everything we needed. The location was even better than I expected. Public transportation, rental vehicles and beautiful beaches were all right there. I would rate this property well above what I might expect and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Wonderful stay.

10 day stay with my wife while visiting our daughter. The building is nice with some fun history to it. Many amenities right on site and right at the start of Waikiki beach. The on-site convenience store and car rental was very helpful. The unit itself was basic and clean and had a full kitchen. The location is good for transportation to everything in the area. Check in and out was simple and exactly as described. All correspondence was quickly returned. Really for the price, location and full kitchen it couldn’t be beat.

Ilikai Hotel Condo

We spent two weeks here and loved our stay. The unit was clean, kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfy. The A/C and TV system worked great. The Ilikai hotel is iconic, clean and in an excellent location with many tasty restaurants and shops inside and nearby, and quick easy access to Waikiki beach. Host Gary was very accommodating.

Great Place To Stay, Close To All Amenities

This is a well kept condo in a convenient location to Waikiki. It’s walking distance to everything you could need to support an excellent vacation. The property owner communicated very well and check-in was simple and easy. Recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on your next vacation.

Upon arrival to the room around 3:20 PM, the room was occupied by cleaners who informed me that they were behind and still cleaning. They informed me that they should be done in about 30 minutes. Good location

Communication from owner was quick and detailed. Condo is in a good location with 15-20 minute walks, or less, to shops and restaurants. Bed was comfy, sofa bed was ok, kitchen was nice and we appreciated how stocked it was in the cabinets and fridge, bathroom was good, and again we really appreciated it being stocked with essentials. Lots of traffic noise during the day/evening but did die down for the most part later at night. Lots of closet room and hangers. Dave's Ice Cream in the hotel lobby was awesome and so were the Friday night fireworks and show! Would definitely stay again!

City life

Lovely stay in Waikiki

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Gary’s property at the Ilikai. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed including the lovely bonus of having left over beverages in the fridge. A drawback was the traffic noise. Sirens, roaring sounds from motorcycles and certain car mufflers was striking. Also because of the surrounding high rises sound was amplified. One should emphasize this is a common problem in all of Waikiki. City authorities need to do a better job of enforcing noise abatement. In summary, we enjoyed getting out and about and the friendly people of Hawaii.

Wonderful stay

This condo is conveniently located between Waikiki stripe and Ala Moana mall. Within walking distance to both. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. The condo is well furnished as pictured and all the amenities are in working order. The king bed is very comfortable. The elevators are slow during busy hours and the noise from the street below can clearly be heard throughout the night. Perhaps something can be done to the sliding door to reduce the noise.Communication with Gary is outstanding. He responds quickly and do his very best to accommodate us. No issue checking in and out. We had a wonderful time staying 17 nights. This condo has everything you needed.

Great condo near the beach

Stayed 7 nights. Cooked most of our own meals, adventured out all day - walking to most excursions. Slept well. Only negatives were that it was super busy and had to wait for elevators (17th floor) and the street traffic was loud some nights. We quickly learned to take the bathers elevator for faster rides and much shorter wait times.

Ilikai room with a view

Great room with a view of the city. Fantastic location close to the beaches. The restaurant/bar downstairs was very good with excellent food. The room was nice with a lanai that faces the city. Has a full kitchen but I didn’t use it. Nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend booking this room.

Great place to stay

Ideal apartment for your Hawaiian stay. Close to the ocean, restaurants, stores and bus route + many tours pick up from this area. Owner very helpful giving good advice and was easy to contact. Bed and bed sofa very large and both comfortable to lie on. Plenty of crockery, cooking pans/implements cutlery. Well stocked with spices and none perishables for home cooking. Good space for clothes hanging and case storage. Great pressure on shower and plenty of towels. Apartment is on the main road side of the building which can get noisey, even though 17 floors up. Yet has an interesting outlook to high rises and mountains plus perfect to watch street parades when on. Really enjoyed staying here.
