Pele was a wonderful host! What you see is what you get! The condo is quiet and an abundance of amenities. From the big screen tv, Wi-Fi, ac and a full kitchen with a dishwasher this truly a home away from home. The condo was clean cozy and had a balcony full of chairs and beach essentials to make relaxing at the beach super easy! Beach is super close and the condo’s location make it easy to walk to local restaurants and shopping!

Great location but was a bit noisy due to the high volume of traffic. Condo was recently renovated and very clean. Enjoyed free parking but checkout was a bit hectic having to run the gate key back up to the room. A return dropbox would be helpful. Other than that we enjoyed our visit

Amazing location, amazing host a d great room!

We had a great stay while helping move our daughter from UH. The room was spacious and the views were incredible. The room was stocked with everything you need!! Will be booking here again in the Fall!

Perfection!

This rental was top notch! Of all the rental experiences I’ve had in my 46 years, whether it be a single family home, condo, or hotel room, this host and unit take the top prize. It was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. We appreciated that the unit had A/C, a lovely view from the balcony, two incredibly comfortable beds (one on the softer side while the other offered a firmer option), and well-stocked necessities like towels, linens, personal products, and a fully stocked kitchen. If you are debating between available units at the Ilikai or any other place nearby, stop right now and book this one!

Holiday Getaway

Our stay was great. The location and parking spot was perfect for us to be able to rent a car and get around all of Oahu during our stay, but was also walking distance to restaurants and shopping in Waikiki. Everything was well stocked with towels, essentials and beach gear. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Accommodations and Location

We enjoyed our stay here. The unit was well stocked and very comfortable. There was a little market downstairs allowing us the ability to pick up food and other supplies. It was in a great location and the view was amazing from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again with any future travels to Honolulu.

Perfect family vacation

My husband, my two children (1 and 4) and I stayed here for two weeks and we could not have asked for a better experience. The vrbo was incredibly clean when we arrived, with lots of amenities: cleaning supplies, Kleenex, toilet paper, pantry items like oil and spices, Kerig coffee pods, beach chairs, and snorkel gear! For parents, sliding doors to the balcony have a lock that is quite high (away from tiny hands that like to explore!) and the partition walls were very handy for nap times, as we could still be in the vrbo while my son slept. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach, close to a bus stop, 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre, has access to a heated pool, and has a powerful air conditioner! So many pluses! The only downside (which is completely out of the hands of the vrbo owner) is that the elevators of the Ilikai (the building that this vrbo is in) were not working to full capacity for the majority of our stay. One day they were just not working at all, then the rest of the days, there would be 2 or 3 (of 5) working. Luckily we were on the 6th floor, so taking the stairs up and down wasn’t a huge deal, but if you had any type of mobility issues, it would be very difficult. Hopefully this will be resolved soon! All in all we had a wonderful vacation. The vrbo owner was quick to respond to my messages, and was very helpful. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We loved staying at this property. Lanai was a great size and loved having lunches/dinners outside Great view! Great property. Lots of towels provided which was great. Great place to stay! Close to everything!

Oahu Fun

This was a great place to stay with easy access to all Honolulu has to offer. Being on 6th floor still provided such a view of both harbor and ocean. We did not use any beach stuff but it looked like there was a lot there. Host was quick to respond if we had any questions. It was great to have a parking space we didnt have to pay for. However, it needs to be noted that you need to have someone run up to condo to get parking pass to enter garage. We recommend Cinnamons for breakfast and Charthouse for dinner. We would definitely stay again.

The price is right for our budget. The host is kind and very responsive. There were a couple things that was not working properly but it was not a big deal for us. We expected it as it is a rental unit so the host would not have known. We just needed a place to stay at night and were out all day anyway. The parking procedure was a bit confusing but it all worked out. I image it would be harder if the guest was by him/herself. The unit is located in a convenient location and it was great to have a convenience store downstairs. We would definitely stay there again!

Great vacation!

Communication with host was excellent and timely. Check in process was easy. Beach gear was provided. Good quantity of towels and shower was excellent. Beds were comfortable with very nice soft sheets. Kitchen was well stocked. Our only suggestion is to provide a Britta water pitcher so as to have filtered water. Great stay.

Beautiful view plus all the comforts of home

This condo was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Bed is comfortable. The kitchen offered everything we needed for quick breakfasts, lunches and snacks. And the view can’t be beat. Mahalo for sharing this place.

Waikiki holiday

The location was excellent and the apartment was well equipped, neat and clean. The car park was great. The view, especially sunset, is fantastic. Bed was comfortable. Would be better if there was only one bed in the room as it is very cramped and we were unable to open the wardrobe. The TV did not work and despite the host supplying a replacement TV the following day, the host could not get that to work either. The air conditioning unit is very noisy. It is located on the floor hidden by the sofa bed and sideboard and therefore is not very effective in cooling the room. Please note that this apartment cannot be booked unless you prepay ($99)and take out their damage insurance even though we advised, and were able to show proof to the host, that this was covered by our travel insurance.

Wonderful Rental! Great Location!

This was a fantastic VRBO! Exactly as listed. Convenient to essentially everything in Waikiki! If you are not familiar with the traffic In Honolulu and Waikiki, it is horrible! I was able to walk essentially everywhere from the Ilikai! The rental is exactly as described. Very clean and never had any issues with contacting owner and getting a response. Check in and checkout were a breeze. The only “issue” , and this was minor, is the parking spot. I had family in and needed to rent a minivan to “chauffeur” the family. The parking space has a massive pillar on the passenger side as you back it in. It took me a number of backups to get it in the spot without taking off the passenger side mirror. Is that any reason not to rent the unit? No! But it is a reason not to rent a minivan! 😁 Would definitely rent this listing again!

Great Unit

This is a nice and very clean unit with a lovely view of the marina, Ala Moana, Magic Island and the sunset. The Ilikai is in an excellent location and within walking distance to anything you need, so you don't have to drive. Having a small market, a Cinnamon's Restaurant, and Dave's Ice Cream at the hotel is wonderful. You can walk to Waikiki or Ala Moana Beach to swim or snorkel at the protected beaches. We never heard any neighbors. The owners did a great job informing us of check-in/out process which was simple and convenient. They left us a box of chocolates and new house slippers, which was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated! It's evident that the owner puts pride and care into their rental. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The parking is in a wonderful spot and was a bonus to the room and our trip.
