The Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head can round out another day. It is a practical choice for guests who would rather spend their Oahu trip out doing things than organizing it.



The Space:

The compact one-bedroom layout sleeps four across a queen bed and two futons. A full kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, and coffee maker for simple meals, while the private lanai makes a pleasant outdoor coffee spot. Air conditioning, internet, and a TV take care of the quiet time between beach walks, pool afternoons, and Waikiki dinners.



Guest Access:

Guests at Hawaiian King in Honolulu enjoy an outdoor pool and an elevator for easy building access, plus a private lanai and private entrance. The location near Waikiki Beach puts the sand and shopping within easy walking distance. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.



The Neighborhood:

The Hawaiian King puts you in the heart of Waikiki, close to the beach and the lively stretch of Kalakaua Avenue. Walk toward the sand for a swim, surf lesson, outrigger canoe ride, or sunset stroll, then choose from nearby cafés, casual meals, shops, and groceries. International Market Place and the Honolulu Zoo are easy additions to the day, and Diamond Head is a short ride away for a memorable hike. It is a convenient base for couples and small families who want classic Waikiki without relying on a car.



Getting Around:

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. A rental car is optional here, since Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, with rideshare and the bus system covering the rest. Beaches, shopping, and dining are often just steps or a short stroll away. Parking is typically available through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.
