Exactly as expected. I was shocked how easy it was to check in, get access, check out. I was concerned about previous mentions of "mean neighbors regarding kids". However, I found quite the opposite. One neighbor brought out a surfboard and gave my kids impromptu surf lessons. Location was great for beach access and walkable distance to food trucks. AC was really key for us as well. Loved each day so much, my daughter cried as we walked out the door.

The Lokelani is more than I could have hoped for. We saw turtles, whales, flying flish from our ocean front Lanai. Unit A203 lovely, tastefully decorated with everything supplied. The location is perfect - quiet and private and walkable to local shops. Would highly recommend.

Will not disappoint

Excellent property and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and unit was well stocked. Great communication from the host. The sunsets never disappointed and were spectacular no matter the weather. Excellent turtle watching/snorkeling in the cove and a top rated beach within a 5min walk. Other great beaches are within a 5 min drive. This unit is also located near many great restaurants (Joey’s kitchen, Sea House, etc).

Best location

Stayed there for a week and it was perfect. Kitchen: fully equipped with everything you will need Bedrooms: beds are comfortable and pillows (I am picky and didn’t have room for mine) were awesome. Bathrooms: all good. Liked you had your own door from the bedroom to the bathroom down stairs. It comes with 4 low folding chairs, towels and sunshade great for the beach. Washer and dryer are really nice to have. View from deck, I have no words. Saw turtles swim by every day. Beach area is great when the tide is low and lots of fish to be seen. Will be back soon I hope!!!

Rainbows

This is our 4th time staying at this complex...probably the second time in 307. Love the coziness and the lanai. The new landscaping is beautiful. We appreciate the new access to the beach. A lot of showers and wind this time. Beautiful rainbows. First time we have seen a rainbow sitting on top of the water!

Great Family Trip!!

Overall our vacation was wonderful. One little hiccup was that the icemaker in the freezer never was repaired while we were there, but other than that everything else was awesome. We look forward to staying at this location in the future.

BEAUTIFUL OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY~LOUSY OCEAN ACCESS

My wife and 2 teenage grand~daughters loved the ocean view, whale sightings and the comfortable accommodations. One BIG problem~under construction notification was not descriptive enough or we're we informed the entire pool area was all dug up and both former beach access we're 100% closed and we had go elsewhere every day to go in the ocean. We attempted several times with the prop. mgr. to get a discount for the inconvenience. That never amounted to much! Maui Paradise Properties should be ashamed...

Great family accommodations with amazing views.

Amazing view. We were able to see whales, turtles and more multiple times a day from our balcony. No AC, but definitely cool enough with windows and fans. Easily accommodated our group of 6. No issues with ongoing constructIon. No noise and neighboring buildings provided easy beach access. Only issue we had was that there were no dish towels…Or at least none that we could find. I’m sure that could be on us. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great Location

The condo was beautiful! The location was perfect close to everything needed! The only thing is there is no air so it was super warm at times of our stay. There are plenty fans however it was days they didn’t do the trick! We also was not send the code To get the key out the box ahead of time so we has to wait for the property owner to send it however their response was quick.

Great location. You truly can’t get any closer to the water then this. Within walking distance of grocery stores, shopping, moped rentals, restaurants and a fantastic coffee shop called bad ass coffee, less then 5 minutes away. Property was clean & the on-site management was very nice. It is on the third floor, if you struggle with stairs don’t stay here, there is no elevator & a second story with the master & washer & dryer. There is also no AC but the breeze you get from the ocean cools it down well except from 4 to sundown as it’s an east facing condo. That’s a great time to go downstairs & enjoy the pool or ocean. I was really worried about no A/C but it truly was ok without it. We saw lots of turtles from the balcony and an eel while snorkeling in front of condo. There is road noise as it sits off a main road, but there isn’t a ton of traffic and it dies down about 9. Garbage trucks come early, 6ish but Most people are up & about anyway because of the 2-3 hour time difference. We would definitely stay here again. If you’re on the fence about booking it, book it. It’s a great value & location & one of the better looking & kept complexes we saw. Mahalo

Perfect rental

There are a few comments about no A/C on this property. True, but it is not necessary (and I love a cold room). 3rd floor means you can leave the patio screen open and windows on the parking lot side so a wonderful ocean cross breeze keep the whole place nice and cool, and it was 80 degrees outside every day we were there. Great amenities, lots of little extras and easy communication with owner makes this a perfect VRBO.

never closer to ocean

One of the highlights of the trip was how close we were to the ocean. Even in the back bedroom, we heard the ocean easily, all night long. As nice as the location was for that reason, it is a long haul to most places and we did not do the 7+ hour loop to Hana this trip as a result. Just too much driving. We chose the two-bedroom condo because it was on the top floor but while we cooked every meal/every day, it was a little short on supplies has we stayed with more than just the two of us. Otherwise, the unit was mostly clean and mostly updated, although the complex was a bit dated and in need of some improvement, cleaning and repairs.

Review of Kulakane condo

The location and the view from Lanai was very good. However, we were unaware that the building did not have an elevator and our condo was on the third floor so we had to haul all of our luggage, golf clubs and groceries up two very steep flights of stairs. One member of our group had just recovered from knee surgery and could not easily climb the stairs throughout our stay.

Amazing Ocean Views!

The location of the condo is great, really close to Lahaina. The best attribute of the condo is the ocean view, however there is no beach. The appliances are good, better than any other VRBO rental we had previously and washer dryer in the unit are very convenient especially since we went to a different beach almost every day! Great stay overall...

Perfect view, great little place

We thought our home for the week was nicer than the pictures. The views were fantastic, especially at sunset, and there was easy access to a good deal of cheap tasty eats. Perfect home base for our diving and snorkeling trip.

Condo has many attributes but needs A/C

Pros-The condo was very well stocked and had almost everything we needed. There are several sea turtles which feed right in front property which can be seen from the patio daily. It is nicely decorated with plenty of towels as well of some nice touches such as make-up remover pads and other small toiletries in the bathroom. There were beach chairs and snorkel gear as well as a small ice chest available which was very convenient. Cons- There are sections of the closet which are locked and not accessible. The closet doors are mirrored and the locked half in each bedroom made us somewhat uncomfortable and made us question our privacy. NEEDS A/C! we were there in August and the heat in the unit from noon until about 9-10PM was unbearable. There were several other renters in this same complex who would all gather outside in the evenings just trying to cool off. We typically went out and about in the mornings and it would have been nice to be able to relax and enjoy the condo in the afternoon but the heat did not allow it. The owners did have a couple of fans in each bedroom which helped onced we went to bed. Even larger ceiling fans in the living room areas would have made a little difference. Bedroom walls are in need of cleaning as are the stairs. The decking near the pool is in need of repair. There are several broken pavers lying around as well as large pieces of green outdoor carpet covering the damaged areas. Also the "swimming pool" is tiny and more for dipping certainly not swimming. There is a nice park and shopping center just down the street so that was very convenient, however, the condo is adjacent to a busy road and with all the windows open it was noisy. Overall it was an okay experience.

Great location

Excellent location. Clean property. Amazing views of the ocean with sandy swim area just feet away. I wish I had known there was no air conditioning - we were so hot. Late night breeze helped, but not enough for good sleeping. Overall, excellent experience and I would recommend to friends and family. Thank you.
